Chapter 612 Wedding
"Alright, it's settled then. I'll pick you up tomorrow morning, and we'll get your hair and makeup done."
Sharon nodded, "Okay."
That evening, Seb returned to the villa and told Sharon during dinner that he would be leaving for a business trip the next morning.
Sharon looked surprised but quickly nodded, "How long will you be gone?"
"Two or three days, I'm not sure yet."
"Alright, got it."
Seb cut a piece of steak for her and said gently, "While I'm away, if you need anything, just ask Dana or the staff. Don't try to do everything yourself."
"Okay, I understand. Don't worry."
After dinner, once Seb went to his study to work, Sharon called Sophie.
"He's definitely leaving for his trip tomorrow. You can come pick me up after nine."
"Got it."
After hanging up, Sharon turned on the TV and sat on the couch, waiting for Seb.
As she watched, she started to feel sleepy and eventually fell asleep on the couch.
Seb emerged from his study around ten o'clock. Seeing Sharon asleep on the couch again, he looked a bit helpless.
He walked over and gently picked her up, intending to carry her upstairs. Sharon woke up immediately.
Still a bit dazed, she looked at Seb and said, "Seb, are you done working?"
"Yeah, you shouldn't wait for me at night anymore. It's uncomfortable sleeping on the couch."
Sharon wrapped her arms around his neck, "You work so hard every day, I want to keep you company. But lately, I've been getting sleepy easily and falling asleep without realizing it."
"Your main priority now is to take care of your health. Be good and wait for me in the bedroom from now on."
"Okay."
They went upstairs, and after Seb placed Sharon on the bed, he went to the bathroom to freshen up.
In the morning, Sharon woke up to find Seb had already left.
She got up, washed up, and went downstairs for breakfast. After eating, she waited in the living room for Sophie to arrive.
At nine o'clock, Sophie's car pulled up in front of the villa.
Thinking about the wedding later that afternoon, Sharon couldn't help but feel excited.
Calming herself, Sophie opened the car door and stepped out.
As she walked into the living room, she saw Sharon sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Sharon."
Hearing Sophie's voice, Sharon looked up and smiled, "Sophie, you're here."
"Let's go."
Once in the car, Sophie turned to Sharon, "We'll go get our hair and makeup done first."
"Today is mainly about your blind date. I don't need to get all dolled up, right?"
"No way! We both need to look stunning for the event!"
Sophie started the car and headed towards downtown.
By the time they finished their hair and makeup, it was almost noon.
Worried that Sharon might be hungry, Sophie took her for lunch before heading to the hotel.
As they walked into the hotel, surrounded by a sea of roses, Sharon was still in disbelief and asked Sophie if someone was having a wedding there today.
The wedding setup was exactly what Sophie had always dreamed of. She decided that when she and Seb got married, she wanted it to be just like this.
Sophie shook her head, "I haven't heard anything. Let's go upstairs first."
It wasn't until Sophie led her into the dressing room and Sharon saw the wedding dress hanging in the center that she realized what was happening.
She turned sharply to Sophie, eyes wide with disbelief, "All of this, is it prepared by Seb?"
Sophie nodded, "Yes, he's been planning this for a long time. The downstairs setup is all based on your preferences."
Only then did Sharon understand what Seb's surprise was.
Her eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Sophie, "Where is he now?"
"I'm not sure, but he's probably busy with wedding preparations. Try on the dress first to see if it fits!"
Sharon blinked away her tears, "Okay."
With Sophie's help, Sharon put on the wedding dress.
It fit her perfectly, just as she had imagined.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Sharon felt a bit dazed.
The last time she wore a wedding dress was so long ago that she had almost forgotten what it felt like.
Sophie stood beside her and said, "You look stunning! No wonder you're my best friend. Oh, and you haven't put this on yet."
Sharon turned to see Sophie holding a diamond-studded tiara, and she couldn't help but smile.
"Let me put it on for you."
"Okay."
Sophie carefully placed the tiara on Sharon's head and adjusted it.
"All set."
"Sophie, thank you!"
"No need for thanks between us. The wedding starts at 2:18 PM. You still have some time to rest. Want to take a nap?"
"How could I sleep now?"
Sophie chuckled, "True, if I were you, I'd be too excited and anxious to sleep."
"By the way, was Seb already planning the wedding when you started asking me all those weird questions?"
Sophie nodded and couldn't help but complain about Seb, "You have no idea how meticulous Seb was. He made a questionnaire with over 500 questions about your favorite colors, flowers, places, and more. It was a nightmare for me!"
The memory of those days was something Sophie never wanted to relive. Some questions she could answer, but others she had to ask Sharon directly.
"Thank you for going through all that."
Sophie was about to say something when there was a knock on the dressing room door.
"Come in."
The door opened, and Randy walked in carrying a food box. He was dressed in a sharp blue suit, looking handsome. Sophie couldn't help but glance at him several times before looking away.
"Ms. Roach, how's everything going?"
"Almost ready. I was just chatting with Sophie."
Randy nodded and placed the food box on the table next to Sharon.
"These are snacks Uncle Seb prepared for you. If you get hungry, have some."
"Thank you."
"Of course, Ms. Roach. If you need anything, just let me know."
Sophie interjected, "Don't worry, I'll take care of Sharon. You're the best man, right? You must be busy. I can handle things here."
Randy looked at her, hesitating. Thinking about Sharon and Seb's wedding, Randy decided to hold back his words and said softly, "Alright, I'll head out then."
After Randy left, Sharon turned to Sophie, "You two still haven't made up?"
"There's still time. Let's see how he does."
Electra had been causing trouble again, and Sophie wasn't sure if Randy could really hold out for a month.
Sharon wanted to advise Sophie but realized that matters of the heart were best understood by those involved. Too much advice could be counterproductive.
Sharon opened the food box and found it filled with her favorite snacks, making her smile.
"Sophie, you didn't eat much at lunch. Want some snacks?"
Sophie glanced at the food box and raised an eyebrow, "I'm full."
Time flew by, and soon it was 2 PM. Sophie held Sharon's hand as they left the dressing room, where Robert was already waiting.
Due to his leg injury, Robert was in a wheelchair. Seeing him, Sharon's eyes filled with tears, "Dad."
Robert responded, his eyes also misty. "I'm here to walk you down the aisle."
Sharon held Robert's hand, and they headed downstairs together.
At the entrance to the hall, Sharon held her bouquet in one hand and Robert's hand in the other, filled with anticipation.
Soon, the doors opened. Seb stood there in a white suit, his eyes fixed on Sharon, filled with love and tenderness.
Even from a distance, Sharon could feel Seb's gaze on her. Focused, intense.
Sharon's grip on her bouquet tightened as she walked slowly with Robert towards Seb.
As they entered the hall, a shower of flower petals rained down from above. The guests erupted in cheers.
"This is so romantic! I want a petal shower at my wedding too!"
"This must be what happiness looks like. I'm so jealous!"
"I'm going to dream about finding a man like Seb tonight."
Demetrius, dressed in a suit and carrying a flower basket, scattered petals as he walked ahead. Sharon and Robert followed, slowly approaching Seb.
Seeing them get closer, Seb's smile grew wider. Finally, Sharon stood before Seb. They looked at each other, eyes filled with deep love.
Robert placed Sharon's hand in Seb's and said slowly, "Seb, I'm entrusting Sharon to you today. I hope you'll cherish and protect her. If you ever argue, I hope you'll be patient with her. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness."
Seb held Sharon's hand tightly and said solemnly, "Dad, don't worry. I'll take good care of Sharon."
Robert patted his hand, holding back tears, "Good, I believe you. Don't let me down."
After Robert stepped down, it was time for the ring exchange. Seb took out the ring box, opened it, and handed his ring to Sharon.
"Sharon, for the rest of our lives, whether in poverty or wealth, sorrow or joy, I'll hold your hand and never let go. Will you marry me?"
Choking back tears, Sharon nodded, "I will."
They exchanged rings, and Seb pulled her close, kissing her forehead.
"Sharon, you look beautiful today."
The guests cheered, the atmosphere electric.
After the ceremony, Sophie took Sharon to the dressing room to change. As they stepped out of the elevator, they saw Alton standing at the dressing room door.
Sharon was surprised and quickly walked over, "What are you doing here? Seb said you've been really busy."
"Today is your wedding. No matter how busy I am, I had to come."
Alton handed Sharon a box. "A wedding gift."
