Looking into Leo's calm eyes, Ayla flared up with anger instantly, "You planned this all along, didn't you?"
Leo smiled, "Ayla, you may be a bit smarter than Damon, but you're still not cut out for business."
After all, he had set a simple trap, and Ayla had foolishly walked right into it.
Ayla clenched her fists and stared at Leo seriously, "Leo, you're really ruthless!"
"You too."
After a moment of silence, Ayla gradually calmed down.
"Leo, you did all this just to take over the Bridges Group, but now my grandfather has partnered with Silvercrest Group. You can't get the Bridges Group!"
"If I can't get it, so be it. I didn't want it that much anyway."
His target now was Silvercrest Group. He wanted to bankrupt Silvercrest Group and then take Sharon away from Seb.
As for the Bridges Group, without Silvercrest Group, it would be just a paper tiger, like the Smith Group.
"So now you're determined to divorce me and go after Sharon, right?"
Leo didn't bother to pretend anymore and admitted directly, "Yes, Ayla, I never loved you. When I married you, it wasn't because you were special, but because I thought it didn't matter who I married."

Leo stood up and looked down at her, "Then we have nothing to talk about. You can leave now."
With that, Leo turned and left.
Ayla quickly got up and blocked his way, "Can't you just live a good life with me and Jerold? Sharon doesn't even love you!"
Leo pushed her hand away and looked at her mockingly, "She doesn't love me, but you do? If you didn't know I was the owner behind Vertex Innovations Group, would you treat me so well? If you give up custody of Jerold, I'll give you fifty million dollars as compensation."
"Fifty million dollars? That's it? My five years of youth, plus giving you a son, and that's all it's worth?"
"Then how much do you want?"
"I want half of all the money Vertex Innovations Group has made since the day we got married."
Leo laughed, "Ayla, do you think you're worth that much?"
Ayla's face turned pale, and after a few seconds, she spoke coldly, "If you don't give it to me, then I won't agree to the divorce. If you dare to go after Sharon, I'll expose her online as a homewrecker!"
"You wouldn't dare!"
Leo's eyes suddenly turned cold, and the chill enveloped Ayla, making it hard for her to breathe.
Ayla met his gaze without a trace of fear, "Oh yeah? Watch me. If Sharon gets scolded by netizens because of you, she will only hate you more, right?"
Ayla had thoroughly investigated Leo's pursuit of Sharon from five years ago and knew that Sharon didn't like Leo at all. It was Leo who had been obsessively pursuing her.

She hated Sharon and Leo.

He let go of Ayla and tossed her aside like trash, not even looking at her as he left.
Back in his study, Leo was about to start working when he received a call from Karen.
"Leo, Kimball Bridges' company is in trouble... He's now asking for a divorce, what should I do?"
Karen's tone was urgent, and one could imagine her panicked state.
"What does his company's trouble have to do with him asking for a divorce?"
Karen gritted her teeth and reluctantly said, "Seb found out about me causing trouble at Silvercrest Group, and recently Silvercrest Group has taken all his company's contracts."
Leo didn't even lift an eyelid, his voice cold, "What you should do now is apologize to Sharon with him, not call me asking what to do."
The other end of the line fell silent.
If Karen were willing to apologize, she wouldn't have called him.
"You want me to apologize to Sharon?"

"Leo, don't you have a big company? With just one word from you, Kimball's company can get through this crisis, you..."
Before she could finish, Leo coldly interrupted, "I can help his company, but why should I?"
If Karen hadn't gone to cause trouble for Sharon, Kimball's company wouldn't be in trouble, and he wouldn't be asking for a divorce. This was all Karen's own doing.
"Please, just help me this once, okay?"
Karen's voice was pleading, but Leo's expression remained unchanged.

With that, Leo hung up the phone.
Karen was so angry she almost smashed her phone. After taking several deep breaths to calm her anger, she turned and went to the study.
"Dear, Leo... can't help."
Kimball sneered, "Is it that he can't help, or he doesn't want to help?"
