Chapter 254 You Are the One Who Deserves to Die the Most
Grace stood there like she'd been hit by a truck, totally out of it.
"Victor, what did you just say?"
Victor's eyes were ice-cold as he spat out each word, "Didn't you just say you wanted to stay by my side?"
Grace's head was shaking like crazy, "I don't wanna go, please, Victor, I messed up, don't do this to me, I'll die!"
'How am I supposed to live without my legs?' Grace screamed inside her head.
Victor watched her freak out, feeling nothing but disgust. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you live just fine!"
His grim look sent shivers down Grace's spine.
"No, just let me go!"
Grace tried to crawl towards the door, but before she could get there, two bodyguards in black grabbed her and dragged her away.
"No, Victor, please let me go! I'm begging you."
Her cries for help faded away until they were gone.
Dominic stood there, head down, not daring to look at Victor. "Mr. Edwards, I'm sorry."
"Why'd you listen to Grace?"
Dominic clenched his fists, struggling inside, 'If Victor finds out I’ve been embezzling, I'm toast.'
But even if he kept quiet, Victor would still find out.
Seeing Dominic stay silent, Victor's voice turned icy, "Dominic, you've been with me for years, you should know me well. If you don't come clean and I find out, I won't show you any mercy."
Dominic took a deep breath and finally admitted to using company funds to trade stocks.
Victor threw the documents at him, shouting, "Just for this, you listen to her? You're such an idiot!"
Victor's face was red with rage, almost losing it completely.
Thinking about how this small mess gave Grace the chance to kill Sharon, turning him and Seb from friends into enemies, Victor wanted to kill Grace and Dominic right then and there.
Victor's eyes were cold as ice, and Dominic's body shook.
"Mr. Edwards, whether you call the cops or whatever, I'll take it. It's my fault for dragging you into this."
"Get out!"
After Dominic left, Victor slammed his fist on the desk, sending everything flying. His face was dark as a storm cloud.
But luckily, Seb had given him a chance; as long as he married Grace, he could save the Edwards Group.
On the way back to Silvercrest Group, Paul couldn't help but glance at Seb, who was resting with his eyes closed in the back seat.
"Mr. Smith, are you really gonna let Mr. Edwards and Grace off just like that?"
Paul thought, 'Victor and Grace are the main culprits behind Sharon's death. If it were me, I'd never let them off, let alone let them get married.'
Seb opened his eyes and said coldly, "You talk too much."
Facing Seb's deep, cold eyes, Paul felt a chill and quickly looked away, not daring to speak again.
Since Sharon's fall from the cliff, Seb's vibe had become more restrained and cold, distant and indifferent, making it impossible for anyone to get close.
Paul's sense of unease grew stronger, feeling that something big was about to go down.
Just as they arrived at the Silvercrest Group building, the car was stopped.
Seeing it was Alex, Seb's face stayed stone-cold.
Alex was fuming, his face red with anger. "Seb, Sharon died because of you. Are you happy now? I'll never forgive you!"
"Mr. Smith."
Paul was about to ask Seb what to do when Seb cut him off, "Drive straight through."
"But..."
"If he wants to die, what does it have to do with you?"
From Seb's icy stare, Paul knew he wasn't kidding.
The driver, hands shaking, didn't dare to move. After all, Alex was Seb's nephew. If anything happened to Alex, he wouldn't take the fall.
Seb looked at the driver and said coldly, "If you can't handle it, get out."
Hearing this, the driver felt relieved and quickly got out of the car.
Seb slid into the driver's seat, started the car, and drove straight at Alex.
Alex's eyes went wide with terror as he scrambled to the side.
But he was too close, and one of his legs got clipped. He went flying, rolling a few times before coming to a stop.
In the passenger seat, Paul's face went pale, clearly freaked out. He hadn't expected Seb to be so reckless.
'Alex is his nephew!' Paul thought.
Seb got out of the car and slowly walked over to Alex, who was lying on the ground clutching his leg and wailing.
Looking down at Alex, Seb said calmly, "Alex, was it you who brought Grace back from abroad?"
Alex's curses died in his throat, his body going stiff like he'd been hit with a shock.
Seb chuckled lightly, "What right do you have to question me? Ava, your mistress, kidnapped Sharon.. And Grace? You brought her back, and she killed Sharon. If anyone deserves to die, it's you!"
Alex's face turned ashen, his lips trembling, his eyes filled with despair.
Alex thought, 'Yeah, it's my fault. If I hadn't cheated with Ava, none of this would have happened.'
"Seb, don't act so righteous. If you hadn't wavered when Grace returned, Sharon wouldn't have ended up like this! You got back together with Grace but didn't stay with her properly, continuing to mess around with Sharon, which drove Grace to jealousy and led to Sharon's death!"
"Yeah." Seb smiled, but his eyes were dark, like an abyss filled with endless despair.
"We're all guilty, so we should all go to hell."
Seeing Seb's seemingly crazed demeanor, Alex felt a surge of fear and involuntarily backed away.
"You're crazy!"
Alex kept retreating, his eyes filled with terror.
Alex cursed inwardly, 'I shouldn't have come to Seb; he's a complete madman now!'
Sensing Alex's terror, Seb calmly got up and left.
In the afternoon, Tyler called in a rage.
"Seb, you actually ran over Alex. Are you crazy? Do you really want to tear the Smiths apart?"
"It's just a woman. Haven't you had plenty?"
"If you keep acting crazy, I won't let you off!"
Tyler cursed for a while, but Seb stayed silent.
Tyler gritted his teeth. "Are you even listening?"
"Are you done?" Seb's cold voice came from the other end, "If you're done, I'm hanging up."
As soon as he finished speaking, the phone went dead.
Tyler, furious, threw his phone and paced around the ward, his crutch stomping hard on the tiles.
"What a disgrace to the family!"
