Chapter 109 Please Spare Me!
Seeing the fear in Emily's eyes, Sharon stayed calm. She believed when Sophie jumped, she must've been more scared than Emily is now.
Emily gritted her teeth and glared. "Sharon, what do you want?"
Sharon smirked. "I want you to feel the pain and fear Sophie had felt."
Emily's eyes widened in fear. "Don't you dare. The Young family won't let you get away with this."
"If they cared, you wouldn't have been here now, would you?"
Fear surged through Emily. Stanley had watched her get taken away without lifting a finger.
Thinking about Sophie still in the ICU, Emily started trembling. She didn't want to end up like that!
"Ms. Wright, I know I was wrong. Please, let me go. I won't do it again. I'll apologize to Sophie and beg for her forgiveness. I'm begging you."
Emily's face was pale, and her eyes were pleading.
However, Sharon's expression was cold. "Are you going to strip yourself, or should I have someone help you?"
Emily quickly shook her head and cried. "No, please."
Daniel wouldn't save her, and if he knew what she did to Sophie, he might be even harsher. Despair washed over her.
"Looks like I'll have to get someone to help you."
As soon as Sharon spoke, the two men in black who had brought Emily over stepped forward.
Emily's eyes filled with terror. She backed away, screaming, "Don't come near me! Don't come near me!"
But the men ignored her and quickly tore open her clothes, exposing her white bra.
"No, please, let me go. I really know I was wrong!"
Sharon walked up to Emily, took out her phone, and snapped a picture of her disheveled appearance.
"If I see any of Sophie's nude photos online, the photos I just took will be posted too."
Emily wished she could tear Sharon to pieces, but she knew begging was her only chance. No one was coming to save her.
"I won't. I don't have any photos."
"You better not."
Seeing Emily crying with swollen eyes, Sharon said coldly, "Alright, you can jump down from there now."
Emily looked up in disbelief, her eyes filled with horror. "What did you say?"
Asking her to jump out of the window was no different from asking her to commit suicide.
"Surprised? Don't forget, Sophie was also forced to jump out of the window by the people you sent. Don't worry. You won't die from the third floor."
Emily's face was terrified. "No, I don't want to die. Please let me go!"
"I suggest you jump yourself. Otherwise, if someone pushes you, they might not control the force well, and you could end up paralyzed, spending your entire life in bed."
Seeing the cold smile on Sharon's face, Emily gritted her teeth. "Sharon, how is this different from murder?"
"Oh, so you do know it's no different from murder. Then why didn't you go to jail when Sophie jumped and ended up in a coma? Instead, you packed up and tried to flee the country."
"I know I was wrong. I'll go to the police and turn myself in. Will you let me go then?"
Sharon shook her head. "Nope. Even if you turn yourself in, the Young family can bail you out. I want you to feel the same pain Sophie did. Only then will you understand what she went through."
Emily felt only despair. She didn't expect Sharon to be so ruthless. She regretted listening to Rebecca and going after Sophie. If she had listened to Stanley and apologized to Sharon, she wouldn't have been in this mess.
Yes, it was Rebecca who instructed her. She just needed to blame everything on Rebecca.
Thinking of this, Emily quickly looked up at Sharon.
"Ms. Wright, it was Rebecca who told me to do it."
Sharon frowned and looked at her coldly. "Rebecca has no grudge against Sophie. What would she gain from harming Sophie?"
Emily shook her head, trembling. "I don't know, but she said if I ruined Sophie, Daniel would be with me and save the Young family. I really didn't want to harm Sophie. Please let me go!"
"So, Rebecca told you to have someone take nude photos of Sophie and force her to jump?"
"Yes, she made me do it!"
Now, to save herself, Emily just wanted to blame everything on Rebecca.
Sharon looked at Emily without speaking. Just as Emily thought Sharon would believe her, Sharon suddenly dialed a number.
Soon, Rebecca's gentle voice came from the other end.
"Ms. Wright, what can I do for you?"
Sharon didn't speak and played the recording she had just made.
After the recording finished, there was a few seconds of silence on the other end, followed by Rebecca's cold voice.
"Ms. Wright, do you believe what Ms. Young said?"
Sharon looked down and said slowly, "I don't want to believe it, either, but Ms. Young said it so convincingly. So I had to ask you."
"Does she have any evidence that I instructed her?"
Before Sharon could speak, Emily, sitting on the floor, angrily said, "Rebecca, do you dare say you didn't instruct me when we were shopping that day!"
"Emily, only evidence speaks. If you don't have any, shut up. If you continue to slander me, not only I but the Walker family won't let you go!"
With that, Rebecca hung up the phone.
Sharon looked at her indifferently. "Do you have any evidence?"
Emily froze in place. She never thought things would spiral out of control like this.
Seeing Emily not speaking, Sharon said indifferently, "If you don't have evidence, just jump."
"No, I don't want to jump. I'll die if I jump!"
Sharon didn't say anything, but the two men beside her walked towards Emily.
Emily retreated frantically, but the room was small. In less than a minute, she was caught.
The men restrained Emily's hands and feet and carried her to the window.
Emily's face was filled with terror, and she struggled frantically.
"No, no, please let me go. I really know I was wrong!"
Just as the men were about to throw Emily out of the window, a cold, angry voice came from the doorway.
"Stop!"
