Chapter 251 Let's See If You Really Dare to Die!

The phone rang forever before someone finally picked up.

"What do you want?" Seb's voice was all rough and grumpy, clearly not in the mood.

Alex's tone was icy, "You heard about Sharon's car crash, right? Bet Grace was behind it!"

After a beat of silence, Seb asked, "Got any proof?"

Alex sneered, "Proof? I dug into Ava's call logs. She was talking to some employee from the Edwards Group employee a bunch of times. Even today, they were in touch, and Ava sent me a message before her phone went dead. Need any more proof?"

Before Alex could finish, Seb hung up.

Seb called Paul into his office. "Check if Ava and Grace have been talking lately, and dig into Victor too."

Paul looked shocked but didn't dare question Seb's cold stare. He quickly left to get on it.

Once the door shut, Seb's eyes darkened, his vibe turning icy and tense, like a ticking time bomb.

In less than half an hour, Paul knocked, looking freaked out.

"Mr. Smith, Ms. Wright might still be alive!"

Seb's eyes lit up, a spark of hope in his otherwise bleak gaze.

It was like finding an oasis in a burning desert.

"Where is she?"

"We haven't pinned her down yet, but our guys confirmed Grace used Ava to go after Ms. Wright. I've already sent someone to grab Grace, and Mr. Edwards seems mixed up in this too."

As Paul finished, the room turned freezing, Seb's pressure almost choking him.

Soon, Grace was dragged in front of Seb.

Seb lounged on the couch, looking calm, but Grace could feel the storm brewing beneath his cool exterior.

"Seb."

"Where's Sharon now?"

Grace's eyes darted with guilt, and she quickly shook her head. "Seb, what are you talking about? I don't get it. Didn't Ms. Wright have a car accident? Why ask me?"

Seb didn't reply, just nodded at Paul.

Paul told the two big guys at the door, "Break one of her legs."

The two men moved towards Grace, one holding a baseball bat.

Grace panicked but still clung to hope, thinking Seb wouldn't really hurt her.

"Seb, Ms. Wright's accident has nothing to do with me, why are you..."

Before she could finish, the guy with the bat swung hard at her thigh. The sound of bones snapping filled the room, and Grace's face went white with pain, sweat pouring down as she couldn't even scream.

'Seb is this ruthless!' Grace cursed inside.

At that moment, Grace realized just how cruel Seb could be.

When he loved her, he treated her like a queen. If she even frowned, he felt her pain. When he didn't, he could break her leg for Sharon.

Seb's expression stayed cold, and he asked calmly, "Where's Sharon?"

Grace gritted her teeth, pale-faced, and glared at Seb. "I told you, I don't know!"

Grace thought, 'You'll regret this! I'll send Sharon to hell and make you pay!'

Seb suddenly smiled, "You sure about that?"

Grace was momentarily thrown by his smile, then gritted her teeth and spat, "I don't know!"

"Paul, get her outta here. You know what to do."

Paul nodded, "Yes, Mr. Smith."

The two big guys had already yanked Grace up.

Grace was in so much pain she almost blacked out, but she glared at Seb with pure hatred.

"Seb, even if you kill me, I won't tell you. Don't worry, I won't let Sharon die; I'll make her life a living hell!"

Seb's face stayed icy, not even giving her a glance.

Not long after Grace was dragged away, Paul rushed back. "Mr. Smith, we've got Ms. Wright's exact location!"

Seb shot up and headed out. "Send it to me!"

Sharon had been stuck in the basement forever when she finally heard footsteps outside. She gripped the shard in her hand tight, nerves on edge.

The door creaked open, and the unsuspecting Samuel got knocked to the ground by Sharon.

She seized the moment and bolted for the door.

Luckily, it wasn't locked. Sharon flung it open and dashed out.

Samuel scrambled to his feet, rage fueling his chase as his footsteps thundered behind her. Sharon's panic grew, causing her to stumble several times.

She was running on fumes, completely drained, and it didn't take long for Samuel to catch up.

He grabbed her hair and slammed her to the ground, choking her so she couldn't move.

"Don't even think about running, or you're dead!"

Sharon gasped for air, clutching the shard tight. Just as Samuel thought she was done, she stabbed him in the face.

Samuel staggered back, the shard piercing his left eye.

In that split second, Sharon shoved him away and took off again.

"Bitch, I won't let you go!"

Samuel, covering his bleeding eye, chased after her.

Sharon had no clue where to run, just heading away from the house where she was held.

After what felt like forever, Sharon was almost out of steam, but she hadn't escaped and was instead cornered at the edge of a cliff.

Samuel sneered, creeping closer. "Go on, keep running."

Thinking about how she had blinded one of his eyes, Samuel wanted to kill her right then and there.

But remembering Grace wanted Sharon alive, Samuel's face twisted with hatred.

Sharon glared at him coldly. "Come any closer, and I'll jump."

Even if she had to die, she wouldn't let herself be captured again because she didn't know what horrors awaited.

Samuel didn't believe she'd jump. He sneered and stepped closer. "Fine, jump then. Jumping means death. Let's see if you really have the guts!"

Seeing they were just a few steps apart, Sharon didn't hesitate and turned to leap off the cliff.

Seb arrived just in time to see Sharon take the plunge.

"Sharon!"

Seb's eyes widened in horror as he sprinted towards her, but he could only watch helplessly as she fell.

In that moment, the world went silent. Apart from his own breathing and the wind, Seb couldn't hear a thing.

Just as Seb reached the cliff's edge, ready to jump after her, someone yanked him back.

"Mr. Smith, you can't go any further!"
