Chapter 326 Tyler Gets Mocked

Seb shrugged, "Got it, no big deal."

To Seb, no matter how much they whined, they weren't getting their hands on his shares of the Smith Group.

Meanwhile, over at the hospital...

Alex's eyes turned icy as he read the online comments bashing Seb. He was sure Seb would clear things up soon.

Once Seb did, Alex planned to drop the video of Tyler accusing Seb of being disrespectful and refusing to return the Smith Group. That would leave Seb with no way to defend himself.

However, Alex waited all morning. As more and more people started criticizing Seb, Seb remained completely unresponsive, causing David to become somewhat agitated. "Alex, you sure this plan's gonna work?"

David had his doubts when Alex brought it up last night. He knew Seb didn't give a damn about his reputation.

Alex clenched his teeth. "Dad, chill. Seb definitely won't be able to resist clearing things up."

David sighed, "Alex, if this doesn't work, just take Grandpa's shares and become a Smith Group shareholder."

David knew they were no match for Seb. He just didn't want Alex to lose hope.

Alex snapped, "Dad, you really think Grandpa's gonna hand over all the shares? Don't forget about Randy!"

After coming back, Alex found out Randy had been killing it at the Smith Group, and Tyler was super impressed with him.

If Alex couldn't take down Seb now, they'd never win Tyler's favor again. Once Randy and Seb had full control of the Smith Group, they could kiss that million-dollar monthly allowance goodbye.

David frowned, "But we can't beat Seb."

Alex shot back, "We have to try! Remember, Seb has a son."

Seeing the cold look in Alex's eyes, David's heart skipped a beat. "Are you nuts? He's just a kid!"

Alex looked him dead in the eye, "Blame Seb for that."

Alex couldn't have kids, but Sharon had given Seb a son. The jealousy was eating him alive.

David suddenly saw a side of Alex he didn't recognize. He hadn't realized Alex could be so ruthless.

David warned, "Alex, once you go down this road, there's no turning back. Think it through."

Alex was about to respond when they heard coughing from the hospital bed. He walked into the room.

David watched him go, feeling uneasy.

At 2 PM, with Seb still silent, Alex dropped the video with Tyler. It blew up instantly.

[Seb is heartless. He won't even visit his dad in the hospital for the sake of profit. Capitalists will ditch anything for money!]

[Seb is a monster, treating his own father like that! Compared to Seb, Alex is a saint. He stayed with Tyler all night and only rested when Tyler was out of danger.]

The public outrage kept growing, and the Smith Group's shareholders were getting pissed.

When Seb received the call from the shareholder, he was in his study working on some documents.

"Mr. Smith, this public outcry is hurting the Smith Group and your image. It's bad for business," the voice on the other end said.

Seb's face was stone-cold. "Got it. I'll handle it."

After hanging up, Seb watched the video. Seeing Tyler accuse him of trying to take over the Smith Group made his blood run cold.

Tyler had been the one who insisted Seb take over the company. Seb wouldn't have done it otherwise.

Now, Tyler was dragging his name through the mud without a second thought about the fallout for the company or Seb.

Seb's heart hardened. They'd cut the last thread of family ties themselves.

In that case, there was no need for him to endure any longer.

He called Rufus. "I'm sending you a video. Edit it and post it on the company's official account. Besides, dig up the evidence of Alex nearly bankrupting the Smith Group when he was GM and post that too."

Rufus was stunned for a moment. When Seb took the Smith Group over, the company was bleeding money, mostly because of Alex's screw-ups as general manager. Seb had kept that under wraps and turned things around with some big deals with Silvercrest Group.

It looked like Seb was ready to burn all bridges.

Rufus quickly agreed, "Got it, Mr. Smith. I'll get on it."

Seb hung up, determination etched on his face.

Then he sent the surveillance footage from the Smith Mansion's living room to Rufus.

Rufus posted the video as instructed.

The reaction was immediate.

The hate for Seb vanished, replaced by outrage at Tyler and Alex.

[Tyler is too much. How can he treat his own son like this!]

[Alex is a loser, trying to smear others after ruining the Smith Group!]

[Oh my God, Tyler and Alex wanted Seb to hand over the shares to Alex. How shameless! If it weren't for Seb, the Smith Group might have gone bankrupt long ago!]

In the hospital, Tyler nearly fainted when he found out Seb had released the footage.

"Damn Seb! How dare he!"

He hadn't expected to be humiliated like this at his age!

His friends would also see the video. How could he face them?

As expected, one of his friends, Ernest Torres, soon paid him a visit. However, rather than showing concern, his eyes gleamed with schadenfreude and a hint of mockery.

"Tyler, how could you be so foolish? You drove the capable Seb out of the Smith Group and wanted the useless Alex to take over. What were you thinking?"

Tyler's face turned red with anger. "If you're here to talk nonsense, you can leave now!"

Ernest shook his head, looking sympathetic. "For the sake of our long friendship, I suggest you reconsider. Children not getting along is often a sign of the elders lacking virtue."

Hearing that, Tyler pointed at him and fainted from rage.
