Chapter 140 Truth or Dare

Raymond was usually the picture of calm, but that question hit him like a ton of bricks. He froze up.

Alex just chuckled, taking a slow sip of his wine, clearly enjoying the show.

All eyes were on Raymond, waiting for his answer.

Raymond and Olivia had been together forever. They must've hooked up ages ago, right? Like, when they were still teenagers?

Selena shot him a curious smile, clearly interested in his response.

Raymond caught Selena's amused look and, for some reason, felt a surge of irritation.

"It was the night of the Montague Family's banquet, right after I got back to the country," he snapped.

Wait, that was recent!

Everyone was stunned. Raymond wasn't the type to lie, especially about something like this.

Alex almost dropped his wine glass, staring at Raymond in shock.

Olivia hadn't been at that banquet. So, who did Raymond sleep with?

Alex's eyes darted to Selena, and sure enough, she looked stunned.

According to Raymond, that night with her was his first time?

But his performance...

Selena felt a wave of unease wash over her.

Even though she was inexperienced, Raymond definitely knew how to make it good.

Raymond's answer had shifted the vibe in the room. Things felt a bit... charged. Even the brush of their clothes felt electric.

Selena wanted to put some space between herself and Raymond, but Emily was right next to her, pressing Selena's arm against Raymond's.

The warmth of their skin touching under the dim lights made her feel flushed. She took a few more sips of her wine to cool down.

Everyone sighed, thinking Raymond was too straight-laced to enjoy the perks of being a guy.

The women, on the other hand, were blushing and their hearts were racing, hoping to use the dares in Truth or Dare to get closer to him.

The bottle spun again, and it landed on Raymond.

He glanced at Alex, who was barely holding back his laughter.

"Raymond, it's not rigged, everyone saw it. Come on, truth or dare," Alex said.

Raymond couldn't pick dare; Alex's dares were wild. Last time, he made someone kiss a stranger at the door of a private room. Even though the woman agreed, Raymond found it gross.

"Truth." Raymond gritted his teeth.

Alex leaned in, eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Was the woman you slept with that night at the banquet here?"

That was a loaded question. The women exchanged suspicious glances.

Selena let out a sigh of relief. At least Alex didn't ask who the woman was directly, or she'd be the target of everyone's jealousy.

Alex might be playful, but he knew when to pull back.

Raymond's eyes flicked to Selena, who straightened up a bit at the question.

Maybe it was just his imagination, but through their touching arms, he felt her body heat up.

Probably the alcohol, but Raymond felt hot too, and memories of that night flashed in his mind.

Selena's skin, her soft cries, and her eyes full of emotion.

Feeling impatient, Raymond unbuttoned a few buttons and said, "Yes."

The women started screaming, scanning the room.

But after a moment, all eyes landed on Selena.

Selena's scalp tingled. She wanted to say she was married to throw them off.

But speaking up now would be like admitting it.

She straightened up, just as the bottle stopped in front of her.

"Dare," she said firmly.

She couldn't risk choosing truth and exposing her secret with Raymond.

A sly look crossed Alex's face, and he grinned.

"Ms. Cooper, so bold. Find a guy here and give him a passionate kiss for thirty seconds."
