Chapter 397 Are You Afraid Your Husband Will Find Out?
Selena tried to get up in a hurry, but he pushed her back down.
Her fingers ran through his damp hair, a sign he’d just showered and hadn’t bothered to dry it.
Selena had also just showered, but her hair was dry, hanging over her shoulders, showing off her small face.
She finally got why Raymond had the property management say that stuff.
In Raymond's story, she was married, and he was convinced she was with Lucas. So, in his head, Lucas was at home. He called her to the underground garage, and like he said, it was an affair.
But it was only nine o'clock, and neighbors could show up any minute.
Selena felt uneasy and was about to say something when he grabbed the back of her head and kissed her hard.
She struggled to breathe and then heard her phone ring. She quickly reached for it.
It was Lucas, following Alan's instructions. Alan, worried that the cufflink incident had upset Raymond, knew Lucas and Selena were close. He told Lucas to invite Selena to dinner to cheer her up.
As Raymond's designer, she would naturally speak well of him to Raymond.
She was already nervous, yet the ringtone just made it worse.
But a bigger hand grabbed her phone and turned it off.
The car went silent, their breaths filling the cramped space.
She asked, her voice shaky, "Do you want to do it here for the third time?"
She asked again, her voice trembling. "What, scared your husband will find out?"
Raymond sat there, his hand already on her waist, sensing her fear.
His breath deepened, and he pinched her chin.
With a light laugh, he said, "Well, there's no other way, just deal with it."
Selena was really scared, but she was more afraid of being tormented to death by Raymond.
When she was about to sleep after her shower that night, she was relieved that Raymond hadn't asked her to come over.
She never thought he would come to her.
He still had the scent of body wash on him.
Raymond's face was always stunning, especially now with a hint of red at the corner of his eyes, like a poisonous flower.
If it were another woman, having a man like Raymond come to her in such an exciting place as an underground garage, she would be thrilled.
But Selena was thinking, could she even get out of this car tonight?
Her hesitation and fear pissed Raymond off.
When she came to her senses, the discomfort in her body made her arch slightly.
Raymond's long hand gently stroked her back.
"Relax."
Selena was so scared of being discovered that she buried her head in his neck.
Raymond controlled her waist, looking up at her with a composed yet decadent expression.
Selena felt the oxygen in the space thinning.
"Raymond."
She was intending to say something, but her voice broke.
Selena indeed couldn't get out of the car.
At one point, she even saw Carter's car drive past theirs. The window was open, so she saw Carter clearly.
She was so scared she clung tightly to Raymond.
Her heart pounded.
When she woke up, she was in Raymond's hotel room, and it was already the next evening.
Her throat was hoarse, and her head was dizzy. Clearly, she had been tormented so much that she caught a fever.
