Chapter 325 She Lost Her Virginity

Selena called Shelley, and Shelley picked up right away. She'd just gotten a call from home telling her to come back.

"Something's happened here," Selena said, sounding really urgent.

Shelley couldn't think about anything else. She got the address and drove over immediately. Halfway there, she realized the address seemed familiar. It was the same one Philip had just given her. Were Selena and Philip at the same bar?

Shelley didn't overthink it. She walked into the private room and was shocked to see Selena's neck covered in blood.

"Selena!" Shelley called out.

Selena forced herself to look up. Seeing it was Shelley, she breathed a sigh of relief, and the half-broken bottle in her hand fell to the ground.

"Take me to the hospital," Selena blurted out.

"Okay," Shelley replied, anxious.

Shelley didn't waste any time. She quickly took off her jacket and wrapped it around Selena's neck. Walking out into the hall like this would definitely attract attention.

Shelley's brow furrowed. Now wasn't the time to ask what had happened; they needed to get to the hospital quickly.

As she helped Selena out of the private room, Shelley spotted Philip still holding a tray in the hall.

She didn't know if it was her imagination, but Philip seemed different from the man she usually saw.

But she didn't overthink it. Shelley quickly called out, "Philip, look to your left. I'm here."

Philip looked surprised. He looked up and met Shelley's gaze.

He instantly reverted to the clean and kind man she knew; he quickly put down the tray and strode over.

"Shelley, didn't you say you weren't coming? What's wrong with your friend? Is she drunk?" Philip asked.

Shelley, in a hurry, grabbed his sleeve. "Take us to the hospital first."

Philip nodded and helped support Selena.

Shelley missed the dark look on Philip's face.

Outside the bar, Philip raised an eyebrow at the million-dollar luxury car, pretending not to recognize the brand, and helped Selena into it.

Shelley was too anxious to explain. "Philip, you drive."

Philip nodded and got into the driver's seat. As he drove, he asked softly, "Shelley, is this your car? It feels different from other cars. Didn't Lucas get a $70,000 car before? This one is much better."

Shelley stiffened. She had driven her own car over.

It was a limited edition, priced at $1.4 million, and her garage was full of such cars.

To avoid Philip's suspicion, Shelley lied, "This is Selena's car. Her family has some money and runs a company in Silver Bay City. The $70,000 car Lucas got is a gift from Selena."

Shelley felt a bit guilty saying this.

Even Lucas had a $70,000 car, but Philip was still riding a bike to work. She felt bad for a moment.

But if her father found out she had a boyfriend, the consequences would be severe. So, she had to keep stalling.

"I see," Philip said.

He didn't say anything more.

The three quickly arrived at the hospital. Fortunately, the wound on Selena's neck wasn't serious. The doctor administered a simple bandage and an intravenous drip.

Shelley then told Philip, "You didn't take leave to come out, so go back. I'll stay with Selena."

After Philip left, Shelley pulled up a chair and sat down. "What happened?"

Selena raised her hand to rub her forehead. "I'm a bit tired, Shelley. Let me rest first, and I'll tell you later."

Seeing her exhaustion, Shelley nodded. "Okay, you rest. I'll wait here."

"You should go back. I'll call you if I need anything," Selena said.

Seeing her insistence, Shelley sighed. "Alright, alright. Just make sure to call me."

Selena nodded and finally closed her eyes.

As Shelley entered the elevator, she ran into Olivia and Sofia, who were there for a check-up.

Sofia had just gone through something traumatic. She needed to do several antigen tests and take preventive medication, and birth control pills to see if she had caught any disease. After all, Sofia didn't know if that bodyguard had been with others.

The plan against Selena was Olivia's idea. Olivia had Sofia bribe the waiter, so she felt partly responsible for what happened to Sofia.

But Olivia didn't take it to heart. In her mind, as long as she was willing to bring Sofia to the hospital, Sofia should be grateful.

Sofia was crying the whole time. After all, she lost her virginity.
