Chapter 306 You're My Husband
These nightgown were Mia's preparation, and the room was right across from hers.
Selena felt herself heating up, unsure if it was from the cold after being toss into the pool. She just found herself in grave thirst of some water.
After casting around the room with no success, she decided to head out in a daze.
Grabbing her room key, Selena had barely taken a few steps when her vision started to blur.
She was burning up and parched. Something was messing with her head.
She shook her head, feeling a cool breeze from a nearby small balcony, which helped a bit. But it wasn't enough; she needed more.
Selena opened the door.
A cool breeze hit her face. She frowned and saw a handsome guy sitting on the small balcony.
This balcony was different from Mia's big one that had a view of everything below. This one was cozy, with just a long couch and a rocking chair.
Seeing his handsome face, Selena was momentarily stunned. He was really good-looking.
She could barely see straight, swaying with each step. "Why are you here alone?"
She rubbed her forehead, trying to clear her mind, but it was still foggy. She was still burning up.
Raymond stopped typing, a laptop on the small table in front of him.
He had a last-minute meeting summary to deal with, so he had distanced himself from the crowd.
Now he closed the laptop and set the folder aside. "Drunk?"
If Selena wasn't drunk, she wouldn't have come to him on her own.
Selena stumbled closer, feeling unsteady.
Raymond noticed a fragrance; she must have just taken a bath.
Selena asked, "Have I seen you somewhere before?"
She didn't even know what she was saying; she just saw a cup next to a man's hand and drank the wine he had half-finished.
She wasn't just hot; she felt itchy inside and an urge to do something to stop it.
Selena said, "I noticed you earlier; you're quite good-looking."
She leaned closer, but Raymond calmly said, "Really?"
It seemed true; she often stared at his face in a daze.
Selena nodded. "Yes."
Her eyes sparkled, feeling that his body was cool and comfortable.
Raymond moved the table aside, worried she might bump into it as she leaned closer.
Selena's mind was a blur; she didn't know what she was doing.
Raymond squinted at her and then chuckled. "Penny, are you sure you want to continue?"
Selena said, "I want some water."
Her fingertips touched the back of his hand, slowly rubbing it.
Raymond's eyes darkened; she was clearly drunk.
Selena asked in a daze, "Do you have any? I'm really thirsty."
She not only felt thirsty, but also itchy inside.
Selena muttered, "Both itchy and thirsty."
Raymond didn't respond immediately but looked downstairs.
The view here wasn't much, but it showed a corner of the pool and the dessert area.
The small balcony was only about sixty square feet; there was a couch, a rocking chair, and a small, knee-high foldable table, leaving no room for anything else.
Selena's fingertips rubbed the back of his hand, her knee touching his, with a tendency to lean closer.
Raymond slowly took off his watch, seemingly making up his mind. His long-suppressed desire suddenly stirred up.
Raymond asked, "Can you discern who I am?"
This question made Selena's mind waver, and she gave him a sweet smile. "You're my husband."
The next second, she was pulled over, forced to sit on his lap.
Her lips were kissed, and her nightgown was lifted.
When he noticed she wore nothing under the nightgown, Raymond chuckled.
