Lillian was still hoping Lauren would keep giving Selena a hard time, but it's only been a day, and Lauren's already been busted.
Lillian saw Selena's post in the group chat, saying she reported the KTV, and it made her a bit uneasy.
How did Selena know about the KTV?
If the KTV was involved in shady deals, only those who'd been there would know.
Lillian squinted. Selena was so good at seducing men. Could she have come from that kind of KTV herself?
A cold smile crept onto her lips.
Coincidentally, Olivia showed up at the Montague Group today. Since she had already talked things out with Raymond and was working on fixing their relationship, she had to show some sincerity.
When Lillian saw her, her eyes lit up.
Every day, celebrities or internet influencers flocked to the Montague Group, all trying to get close to him. The reception had already turned many away. Now that Olivia was back, she naturally needed to know who was eyeing Raymond.
As she approached, she overheard Lillian chatting with a colleague.
"Hey, did you know that Raymond's designer is connected to a KTV that got busted for shady deals? The owner is in jail."
"Really? I couldn't tell. Selena always seemed so aloof."
Lillian pretended not to see Olivia and casually said, "Actually, I saw Raymond coming out of her room, and..."
Before she could finish, she seemed to notice Olivia's presence and was startled, quickly greeting her.
"Miss Stone."
Olivia didn't really remember Lillian. After all, there were several receptionists at the Montague Group, and she had just come back.
But what was Lillian about to say?
Olivia smiled at her. "Come with me to the top floor. I brought my own roasted coffee beans, and there's a coffee machine up there. You know how to grind them, right?"
Lillian was inwardly pleased, finally catching this person's attention. "Sure, Miss Stone, please follow me."
Olivia held back from asking anything as they entered the elevator together.
Upon reaching the top floor, she first went to the CEO's office and found that Raymond wasn't there, but his phone was on the desk.
At that moment, the phone rang. It was Catherine calling.
Without hesitation, Olivia picked up the phone and answered.
"Raymond."
Catherine called out, intending to ask about his allergy, but Olivia's voice came through.
"Aunt, it's Olivia."
Catherine paused. Why was Olivia holding Raymond's phone?
He was quite particular about his privacy, so it seemed he was completely unguarded with Olivia.
Catherine made a mental note and smiled.
"I heard Raymond accompanied you to the pet hospital?"
"Yes, my cat had a bit of an issue."
"Raymond is allergic to animal fur, especially dog fur. He had a high fever and broke out in a rash last night."
Olivia was surprised. She didn't know this and quickly apologized.
"I'm sorry. I forgot about that. I'll remind him to take his medicine later."
"Alright, you just came back and haven't had a meal with me yet. Come to Ashbourne Manor with Raymond tonight. You should also meet Raymond's wife. She didn't come home last night, who knows where she slept. Oh, Olivia, you know, I've always preferred you as my daughter-in-law."
Olivia's eyes sparkled.
Catherine inviting her to Ashbourne Manor and clearly showing her displeasure with Raymond's wife seemed like an opportunity to put the other woman in her place.
