Chapter 273 Not Even Qualified to Climb Up to Raymond
The bag smacked Selena, but she missed it, and it hit the ground.
Sofia went all dramatic. "Do you even know how much Olivia's bag costs? It's a limited edition, worth millions! You couldn't earn that in a lifetime!"
Selena just smiled. "I'm a designer, not a servant. If Miss Stone doesn't want to come with me, you can wait at the company."
"You!"
Sofia had taken a lot of flak from Selena but still hadn't learned her lesson.
Olivia gracefully picked up the bag and handed it back to Sofia, giving her some advice.
"Selena is Raymond's personal designer. You can't be so rude. It's one thing to be spoiled at home, but you can't act like this outside."
The point was made. As long as Selena knew Olivia was the future Mrs. Montague, there was no need to argue; it would be beneath her.
Sofia listened to Olivia and quickly took back her bag, nodding.
"I understand."
Olivia looked at Selena, her lips curling into a smile. "My sis is a bit immature, sorry about that. Let's go."
Selena didn't say anything. She used to think Olivia was fake, but at least she was good at pretending. Sofia, on the other hand, was just plain dumb.
They walked past the reception desk together. Lillian saw Selena and rolled her eyes, but when she saw Olivia, she became super enthusiastic.
"Miss Stone, are you leaving already?"
Olivia, without any airs, politely smiled and responded, "Yes, I'm going with the designer to check out Raymond's house."
"Congratulations. We look forward to your next visit to the Montague Group."
Lillian's smile grew even brighter, but when she looked at Selena, her face turned cold.
Selena couldn't be bothered to argue with her and headed outside to get into the car.
But when Sofia saw Selena's car, she exaggeratedly shouted, "Your car isn't worth more than half a million dollars, is it?"
This was a car Selena had bought for herself, and it wasn't expensive. She liked how it felt and was used to driving her first car.
She opened the front door to get in, but Olivia took out her car keys and handed them to her.
"Why don't you drive my car? I'm not used to sitting in yours."
She might as well have said that Selena's car was too shabby for her status.
Selena raised an eyebrow but didn't get angry because she had no intention of driving Olivia's car and didn't take the keys.
"I'm used to driving my own car. If you're not comfortable, you can drive yours, and I'll lead the way."
Olivia had thought Selena would agree and was already planning to walk to her car. So when she suddenly heard the refusal, her brows furrowed.
But she quickly smiled. "I apologize for the offense."
It seemed that aside from acting coy in front of Raymond, she was quite good at maintaining her composure in public.
Selena came to this conclusion and got into her car, leading the way.
Behind her, Olivia's driver naturally drove the car.
If Selena had agreed earlier, the driver would have sat in the passenger seat, serving as a warning to Selena. But she didn't take the bait.
As soon as Olivia got into the car, Sofia snorted.
"Olivia, wasn't I right? This designer definitely has her eyes on Raymond. She's got a lot of tricks up her sleeve. I've lost to her several times before."
Olivia's face darkened, and she pursed her lips coldly as she got into the car.
"Olivia, she even followed Raymond to the hotel before."
"Unless you saw it with your own eyes, don't say such things. If Raymond really wanted to find a temporary companion, it could be anyone in the industry. Didn't you see how many women were jealous of me when I came back? She's just a designer; she doesn't even have the qualifications to get close to Raymond."
Sofia pouted, not daring to anger Olivia, knowing that she would be the one to suffer in the end.
"I'm just reminding you. What kind of designer gives their client cufflinks worth twenty grand?"
Olivia's eyes narrowed, and she chuckled. "Sofia, it's not that I don't want to deal with her. I just don't like you speaking ill of Raymond. You know how upright he is."
"My bad. Don't be mad."
Olivia looked ahead, a sharp glint in her eyes.
If Selena really didn't know her place and tried to seduce Raymond, Olivia wouldn't hesitate to deal with her.
