She shivered but quickly swallowed the pill.

Parker swirled a cup of tea with his fingers. "Take off your clothes."
The woman began to undress.
A smile crept onto Parker's lips as he called for a bodyguard.
The bodyguard stood respectfully to the side.
Parker continued, "Take the knife from the table and go stab him."
The woman slowly walked to the table and picked up the knife.
The bodyguard was startled and immediately knelt down. "Mr. Schmidt."
Just as the knife was about to strike, Parker shouted, "Stop."
The woman stopped, and the knife fell to the ground.
Parker clapped his hands in excitement. "Great!"
The bodyguard, still confused, heard Parker's instructions. "Go tell Mr. Torres that I'll follow his plan."
The bodyguard quickly got up and went to find Mario.
Parker's face was full of excitement. With Mario, the Schmidt family could soon become the top family on the inner island!
A smile spread across his face, and his eyes gleamed with excitement.
Meanwhile, Raymond sat on his bed, unable to sleep.
He thought about the brief glimpse he had of Selena. She didn't look well.
He needed to find a way to get her out of there.
He got up, opened the door, and remembered what Eldon had said about Leo.
But when he asked a servant, he learned that Leo had been punished for defying Parker and was sent to clean the chapel.
The chapel was a restricted area of the Schmidt family, heavily guarded, and no one could enter.
No one outside could contact Leo until his punishment was over.
He was reportedly punished for a month.
This meant Raymond wouldn't see Leo for a month.
The Schmidt family had many bodyguards. Even if he wandered around for ten minutes, someone would follow him.
And the room with the sealed window was now heavily guarded, preventing anyone from approaching.
Raymond had no choice but to return to his room.
The next day, a servant entered, eyes downcast, and said Yosef had arrived.
