Chapter 326 Stomach Issue
Sofia was in tears. "Olivia, my reputation is ruined. Everyone knows about my fling with the bodyguard. How am I ever gonna get married now?"
Just the thought of Raymond seeing all this made Sofia feel the urge to crawl into a hole. She'd stuck by his side for so long, but he never really noticed her. Instead, he seemed to be hitting it off with some designer and was even dating Olivia. She got nothing out of it.
Olivia, half-heartedly, held her arm. "Well, who can you blame? You were pretty reckless."
Sofia's heart was full of resentment, but most of her anger was aimed at Selena; she blamed her for everything.
They bumped into Shelley, but she just recognized them and didn't bother to say hi.
Sofia got pulled in for an exam, and Olivia waited outside for what felt like forever. Just as Olivia was about to lose her patience, Sofia finally came out.
Sofia looked pale, feeling like the doctors were judging her.
People who came for this kind of exam were usually worried about STDs, which kinda implied they were sleeping around.
Fuming, Sofia pressed her lips together tightly. As she was about to head back to Olivia, she ran into Selena, who was on her way to the restroom.
Sofia, already boiling with anger, saw Selena and her eyes flared up. "Penny?"
Selena frowned, probably wondering why Sofia was there. She tried to ignore her and head to the restroom, but Sofia wasn't having it.
"You bitch! Stop right there! It's all your fault my reputation's ruined. I wanna kill you," Sofia yelled.
Seeing her nemesis and still reeling from the humiliating exam, Sofia, eyes bloodshot with rage, lunged at Selena.
Olivia, hearing the ruckus, quickly walked over and saw Selena. She felt like it was bad luck to run into her.
"Why is it you again?" Olivia asked, frowning.
She saw Sofia, teeth gritted, ready to hit Selena. "Sofia, what's going on?" she asked.
"Olivia, she humiliated me. I don't wanna live anymore," Sofia whimpered.
Sofia was smart enough to let Olivia take the lead in dealing with Selena.
Olivia already didn't like Selena, so she marched over.
"You lost my cat, which we just found this morning, and now you're bullying Sofia. Penny, do you think I won't get mad?" Olivia said scathingly.
Selena thought they were just looking for trouble.
Olivia, a bit angry, raised her hand to hit Selena, but Selena grabbed her wrist, lifted her leg, and kicked Olivia in the stomach.
The two guys from earlier were probably sent by Olivia.
Olivia hadn't eaten today. She already had stomach issues; with that kick, her stomach churned, and her face went pale.
She fell to the ground, clutching her stomach, her forehead covered in cold sweat.
Seeing this, Sofia's eyes lit up. "You bitch, you're done for. Olivia's stomach condition is serious. You probably just made it worse."
Selena didn't expect Olivia to be so weak.
When Olivia came over, her stomach was already bothering her. She'd been looking for the cat all morning, feeling irritable. Plus, Sofia's crying had killed her appetite. Now her stomach felt like it was on fire.
Sofia quickly called for the doctors, and they rushed over. Soon, Olivia was admitted to the ward next to Selena's.
Selena stood in the hallway, frowning, hearing Olivia call Raymond, sweetly asking him to come see her.
Selena could almost visualize how they'd badmouth her once Raymond showed up.
