Whoever held the Jellyfish Seal ran the show. The reason K hadn't made everyone bow down to him was because he didn't have it.
And he always thought K was an ungrateful jerk.

Selena helped him into the tent.

Selena lay down, her face showing how tired she was.
"I saw Raymond tonight. He might've been captured by the inner island folks. They haven't come back yet, so I need to check on him at dawn."
"The inner island people are ruthless. If they got him, he might already be dead. Aren't you pregnant? Is Raymond the father?"
"Yeah, I've lost contact with him for a while and I'm worried."
Emilio frowned, wondering if the prisoner of the Soto family could be Raymond.
Raymond caused such a ruckus on the middle island, the inner island folks probably knew about him long ago.
The wealth he controlled was massive. Once he entered the inner island, it would mean a power shift there.
The families who had been stable for so long on the inner island wouldn't tolerate someone like him competing for resources.
So Raymond would definitely be dealt with. Any random charge could make him a target among the families.
But he still caused such a commotion on the middle island. Was he also looking for Selena?
Emilio never really understood emotions like this. In fact, he didn't understand any kind of feeling between people.
He became one of BK's youngest leaders because he never acted on impulse.
The person who raised him always said he was the most reliable, precisely because he seemed to be born without emotions.
Killing only made him more frenzied.

The outcome was acceptable.
The burning urge to kill in his heart was soothed.

"Selena, do you always carry the Jellyfish Seal with you?"
When he asked this, he expected Selena might refuse to answer.
After all, they weren't even friends.
Selena had already closed her eyes, but she still responded, "No."
"Then where did you put it? If those people care about it, you could spread a false lead to send them on a wild goose chase."
"Yeah, that's why I accidentally let it slip tonight that the seal is in the mental hospital on the outer island."
Emilio's mouth twitched.
The mental hospital had tortured Mario. Although he didn't know the specifics, now that people searching for the Jellyfish Seal knew it was there, they would flock to the mental hospital.
This would bring trouble to the hospital.
He didn't know if she was avenging Mario or what.
"Selena, you don't seem to like Mario much. Why do this?"
Why specifically say it was in the mental hospital?
"I don't like Mario, but he's Raymond's brother. I can't just watch him die."
"You're pretty good to Raymond."
