Beatrice didn't dare argue, her eyes red as she hugged him.
"Okay, okay, Nick. Whatever you want to do, I support you. I'm so unlucky."
Beatrice then called Kenny and quietly told him about Nick. Kenny was shocked but quickly comforted her. "Let Nick handle the Selena situation himself. The most important thing now is to stop James from waking up. We can't delay any longer. Think of another way."
Beatrice calmed down after hearing Kenny's words.
The most important thing now was to take over the Fair family's company.
She quickly went back to the ward and held Nick's hand.
"Once we get the company, I'll hand Selena over to you. You can do whatever you want with her. This is all my fault. I didn't think it through."
She originally thought that as long as she guarded the door and didn't disturb Nick from defiling Selena, once it was done, they could spread the news, and the Montague family would definitely call off the engagement.
But who would've thought Selena would bring pepper spray and deliver a fatal blow to Nick.
Beatrice gritted her teeth in hatred. If Selena were here, she would definitely pounce on her and bite off a piece of her flesh!

The new design plans for Manston Manor hadn't come out yet, giving her a headache.
That part of the design had to be revised, but the rest could proceed as planned. The construction team kept working, and she secured favorable terms from Cornerstone Construction, sourcing materials at the lowest prices through their connections.
Previously, she contacted suppliers herself, but her influence was limited. Cornerstone Construction, being a large company, secured an 80% discount on her original prices, saving her millions of dollars.
She smiled slightly. This was a small way to repay Raymond, though he didn't need the money. As his hired designer, she had done her job.
The next morning, Selena urged the police again, but the result was still the same: insufficient evidence, ruling out homicide. Paddy's death remained unresolved.
The Fair family's company, out of humanitarian concern, compensated five million dollars. This decision wasn't made by James, who was still in a coma, but by Kenny.
Although Kenny had been by James's side for a long time, Selena didn't like him. Kenny seemed pretentious, desperately trying to fit into the elite class but failing miserably.
With her father in a coma, Kenny was temporarily making decisions for James. Selena couldn't get involved. Even if she wanted to, no one in the company would listen to her.
She had never appeared in the company, and Beatrice had always been there. As the daughter of the ex-wife, she was gradually forgotten. Moreover, Selena had no shares in the company.
