Chapter 346 Sleep with Her
Steven quickly poured a glass of water.
Victoria downed it in one gulp, muttering, "That bitch's out of her mind."
Arthur recounted what had just happened, and Steven was so mad his scalp tingled. "This is attempted murder! James didn't raise her right. We really need to move into the Fair family mansion. If no one disciplines her, how's she gonna get married?"
Arthur nodded. "Barbara died early, and James remarried. She definitely lacks parental love, but the real issue is she now has power and bodyguards. We can't confront her directly."
Steven thought for a moment, then his eyes lit up. "Dad, this is easy. She hasn't felt much love since she was a kid. We just need to set her up with a guy to seduce her, send her flowers every day, and she'll be hooked. Once she gets pregnant, she won't be able to run away. Women become obedient when they're pregnant. Then she'll listen to us. I happen to have a friend's son who's single and just got out of jail last month. He can do this."
They discussed it and immediately made contact with the suitable helper Steven mentioned.
Selena had no clue about their nasty plan.
After spending two hours at the hospital, she was about to leave when a guy with a sleazy demeanor blocked her at the entrance.
The guy had a shaved head and wore a black jacket. He looked her up and down, his eyes lighting up.
"You're Selena, right? I'm the blind date man Steven set up for you. Shall we talk as we walk?" He held two roses in his hand, looking very confident. "Take these roses as a meeting gift."
Selena noticed the roses were plastic, costing less than a dollar each probably.
"Real roses aren't as expensive as these. They cost over ten dollars each. Steven said your family is wealthy, so I thought I shouldn't shortchange you. I've already booked a restaurant. I'll drive you there." He proudly pointed to his Mercedes behind him.
Selena speculated it was the lowest model, costing less than $45,000.
When Selena heard him mention Steven, she knew it was James's brother. So they were targeting her now?
Francis Vasquez was twenty-seven, had just gotten out of a three-year prison stint, and was looking for a wife. He couldn't believe someone introduced him to Selena, whose family owned a company and lived in a mansion. He thought he had hit the jackpot.
He strutted to his car and opened the door for Selena. "This limo costs tens of thousands of dollars. Get in. The restaurant we're going to is also very expensive. Steven said you grew up without parents. Don't worry, after we get married, I'll take good care of you."
Selena found it amusing and ignored him, getting into her own car.
Her car, which she bought herself, truly cost several tens of thousands of dollars and was way better than his so-called limo.
She floored the gas pedal, and the car sped off, not even leaving a trace for him.
Francis, seeing this, got angry and immediately called Steven. "What's up with Selena? She didn't even say a word to me. I used to date pretty girls in school. Does she look down on me?"
Steven didn't expect Selena not to be swayed. By all accounts, Francis' conditions were decent. His family owned a small factory, making tens of thousands of dollars a year, which was hard to find. "Don't be mad. I didn't think this through. Didn't I tell you? Her mom died early, and her dad didn't care for her, so she lacks basic manners. But women, if they don't behave, you just need to hit them a couple of times, and they'll fall in line. Once she has your child, how tough can she be? The important thing is to get her first, then you can tame her."
Francis snorted coldly. "I used to date top-tier beauties. If she wasn't good-looking, I would've lost my temper."
Steven laughed on the other end, knowing Francis was ruthless and had been to jail. Handling Selena should be no problem.
He suggested, "If all else fails, just sleep with her!"
