Chapter 202 The Object of First Love
Raymond's face darkened right away, and he instinctively tried to shut the door.
But Alice reached out, her voice all anxious.
"I ran into the lobby manager downstairs. Are you hurt? I don't mean anything by it. I just wanted to check on you."
She already knew which floor Raymond was on.
There were two presidential suites on this floor, and tonight she was staying next door.
Because she was staying in the same place as him, maybe even sleeping on the same kind of pillow, she felt the air was sweet.
She had been upset by Selena in the morning, but she quickly got over it.
As long as Raymond had a bad attitude towards the Fair family, Selena would never let go of her grudge and be with him.
But she didn't care at all about Raymond's attitude towards the Fair family.
She only liked Raymond.
Alice coughed twice, the redness on her cheeks becoming more pronounced.
"Ointment needs someone to apply it for you. I'm worried you might be hurt in a place you can't reach."
Raymond looked at Alice, her clothes deliberately revealing her breast, with light makeup, and only a thin coat. Under the hallway light, the coat was almost transparent, covering nothing.
Alice placed her hand at the door to prevent him from closing it.
Her gaze at Raymond was almost seductive.
When it came to adult matters, as long as one person took the initiative and the other didn't refuse, things came together quickly.
But Raymond just sneered, seemingly thinking the ointment was bought by her, and threw it out directly.
"Get lost."
The merciless rejection was like a sharp knife, stabbing directly into Alice's chest.
Alice's face turned pale, and she quickly withdrew her hand.
A moment slower, and her fingers would have been crushed.
This was the first time Raymond had rejected her so mercilessly.
She felt very humiliated. She had spent two hours just on makeup tonight, and it was a carefully crafted look to appear pitiful. She had even walked around downstairs a few times, attracting several men who tried to hit on her, which gave her the confidence to change into a slightly transparent outfit and come over.
But she hadn't expected Raymond to react this way.
Alice felt humiliated, being treated like this by someone she liked was like being slapped in the face.
She bit her lip, looked down at the paper bag on the ground, and picked it up.
This was the paper bag the lobby manager had been carrying, clearly meant for Raymond, with the ointment still inside.
She glanced at the receipt, which had only one name on it: Selena.
Her face changed instantly. She had thought Selena's words about wanting to keep Raymond were just angry words, but it turned out she had sent the ointment over that night.
A cold look flashed in Alice's eyes as she returned to her room.
She had liked Raymond for several years and was determined to get him at any cost.
She sent a text message to Selena: [Sis, I got hurt, and Raymond sent me ointment. He must really care about you to look after me.]
She deliberately took a photo of the ointment and sent it over.
Selena received the photo while she was cleaning up the takeout boxes.
Seeing the message, she didn't even know what to say.
How had she not noticed before that Alice was so fake, just like Olivia?
But at least Olivia was someone Raymond liked, and he was willing to indulge her.
Alice, on the other hand, had no legitimate reason and was shamelessly hanging around. Didn't she feel embarrassed?
Selena used to be polite to her. But ever since she discovered Alice's feelings for Raymond, she only felt disgusted.
Regardless of whether she and Raymond had feelings for each other, they were at least married, and Raymond was Alice's brother-in-law.
To shamelessly mess around with her brother-in-law and even flaunt it in front of her sister.
Selena felt a surge of anger.
She immediately took a screenshot of the message and sent it to James, along with a sentence: [Alice has grown up and is experiencing her first crush, but isn't she choosing the wrong person?]
