Chapter 292 She Still Keeps Raymond's Portrait

"Alright, I'll swing by with Raymond once his meeting wraps up."

Olivia hung up, a satisfied smirk playing on her lips.

John, who was lingering outside, noticed her on the phone but didn't intervene. It seemed like Olivia was a strong contender for the future Mrs. Montague.

Raymond didn't seem to care, so as his assistant, why should John make waves?

Olivia headed to the break room and found Lillian still there, diligently making coffee.

When Lillian saw Olivia walk in, her eyes lit up with anticipation.

Olivia made sure they were alone before speaking, "You mentioned you saw Raymond and Selena doing what?"

Lillian's hand shook, playing the part of being flustered perfectly.

Olivia's gaze was piercing as it landed on her.

"You know I'm going to be the future Mrs. Montague. One word from me to Raymond, and you could lose this job."

Lillian quickly set down the coffee grinder, nervously clutching her clothes.

"I'll tell you everything, just please don't make me lose my job."

Olivia sneered, satisfied with her response.

"Spill it. What did you see?"

"Well, my room's on the same floor as Selena's. One night, I saw Raymond leaving her room, and it was pretty late. I was shocked."

Olivia's face darkened immediately.

Raymond wasn't the type to casually visit a woman's place. He hadn't even been to hers. He always kept a respectful distance.

"Do you know the consequences of lying to me?"

Lillian was almost in tears. "I'm not lying. I really saw him. Because I'm dating Raymond's cousin, I interact with Selena more. She's married but pretends to be Carter's girlfriend in front of his mom. I've been fooled by her all along. Now she's involved with some shady KTV, probably learning how to seduce men."

Those kinds of KTVs were notorious for that.

"Oh, and she has a portrait of Raymond in her house! She painted it herself."

Olivia's face grew even darker, recalling the hair she found in Raymond's room. Could it really be this designer's?

But wasn't she married?

Lillian, having spilled everything, smiled slightly.

"Please don't tell Raymond. I really don't want any trouble."

Impatience flashed across Olivia's face. How could Carter be interested in such a woman?

"You can go now. I won't tell him. Just do your job as a receptionist."

Lillian nodded quickly. As she stepped into the elevator, she couldn't help but laugh.

Now, it was up to Olivia to handle Selena.

If Selena couldn't match Olivia's tactics, she might be driven out of Silver Bay City or blacklisted by the entire social circle.

Then Lillian wouldn't have to worry about Carter being seduced by that tramp.

Meanwhile, Selena was still at the Rose Garden.

The trash at the entrance had been cleaned up, and the residents' impression of her had improved. It looked like she could stay in this house a bit longer.

As long as people like Lauren didn't show up causing trouble, she could consider this place home. After all, she spent all her money buying it.

She withdrew the house sale listing and felt a sense of relief.

Just then, the hospital sent a message, a video of Max getting his medicine.

[Max is being very good. Don't worry.]

Selena planned to visit Max. Although he was lively, he was actually very timid. But then Catherine's message came through.

[Come back to Ashbourne Manor for dinner tonight.]

She frowned, not sure what Catherine was up to this time.
