Chapter 387 Then She was Caught in the Act by Olivia
Raymond's heart did a little flip. He leaned in slowly, aiming for her lips.
But she turned her head, and his kiss landed on her cheek instead.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet."
Selena had a knack for killing the mood.
With that one line, all the romance evaporated.
Raymond stared at her, eyes locked.
She worried he'd see through her little trick and avoided his gaze.
After a moment, she asked, "Got any clothes I can borrow?"
Raymond opened a nearby cabinet, grabbed one of his shirts, and tossed it to her.
"Here, put this on."
Selena let out a sigh of relief and quickly slipped into the shirt.
Raymond was tall, about 6'2". His shirt just barely covered her butt.
She'd rushed over last night and didn't bring any clothes except for the two sets she bought from a store.
After her shower, her clothes were wet, and she had nothing to wear underneath, so she had to go commando.
Women hate that feeling; it makes them feel exposed.
"Go freshen up."
He turned to her and kissed her earlobe, like a lover's whisper.
Selena wasn't used to being this close to him.
To be honest, she'd never been this intimate with anyone, so it felt a bit weird.
Plus, she had a cool demeanor, but her skin turned pink easily, super sensitive.
She went to freshen up, still wearing Raymond's shirt.
Raymond watched her, never imagining his stiff shirt could look so sexy.
She was graceful and alluring.
Selena went to the bathroom, saw her clothes still in the laundry basket, quickly found a bag to put them in, tied it up, and planned to take them back to wash.
After that, she brushed her teeth and washed her face.
Just as she wiped her face with a towel, Raymond's face appeared in the mirror.
He stepped forward, trapping her, grabbed her chin, and turned her head to kiss him.
In that cramped space, with his dominant vibe.
Selena's body trembled.
He lifted the shirt she was wearing.
Selena's eyes widened, her face flushing and paling.
She was wearing nothing but this shirt!
Luckily, the doorbell rang just then.
Raymond let her go, casually pulled her shirt down, and even straightened it a bit.
Selena's heart was racing, her head down, ears burning.
He seemed pleased, wiping the corner of her mouth with his thumb.
"Let's go eat."
Selena leaned on the sink, trying not to freak out.
"Okay, thanks."
When she walked out of the bathroom, the dining cart was already in the room.
Selena was starving, just about to dig in when the doorbell rang again, and Olivia's voice came from outside.
"Raymond, you in there?"
When Olivia came up, she ran into the waiter delivering the food, so she knew someone was there.
Raymond also came out of the bathroom, looking put together.
Selena was panicking. If Olivia opened that door, it would be a nightmare.
"Raymond."
She called softly, fingers curling in anxiety.
Doing this kind of deal with Raymond was already something that couldn't be seen by others; the fewer people who knew, the better.
Raymond was about to speak when Olivia's voice came again.
"Raymond, I got the key card from the front desk manager. I'm coming in."
Selena was so scared her mind went blank, instinctively heading for the bedroom.
At the same time, Olivia pushed open the door.
The windows were open, but she still caught a faint scent, not something Raymond would like.
"Raymond," She called out, her eyes suspiciously on the dining cart.
This looked like a meal for two?
