Chapter 192 Cheat on Selena
Selena was like, "Ms. Montague, I can totally explain this."
But Grace wasn't having it. She whipped out her phone and called William first. "Hey, can you send me Raymond's wife's number? I gotta talk to her about something."
Grace had never met Raymond's so-called wife, but William always spoke highly of her, so she figured the lady must be pretty classy.
Now that someone was openly messing around with Raymond, his wife needed to step in.
Plus, Raymond himself let Selena hang out in his office, which showed he was kinda okay with her being there.
Grace needed to remind Raymond that he was a married man. If this got back to William, the rest of the Montague Family might start gossiping.
If Raymond hadn't admitted to a one-night stand himself, Grace would never have linked him to any drunken shenanigans.
And honestly, if there was gonna be any funny business, it would be with Olivia.
Grace knew Olivia well, and she was definitely a better match than someone like Selena, who was always trying to seduce people.
William had no clue what was going on. No one in the Montague Family had ever asked for Selena's number, and Grace had never brought it up before.
But today, she did. Was something up with Raymond? Did he cheat?
William squinted his eyes, running through a bunch of scenarios in his head.
He asked, "Grace, does Raymond have another woman on the side?"
Grace was caught off guard, not expecting William to catch on so fast, and she didn't know what to say.
In those few seconds of silence, William figured Raymond must've been caught with another woman.
As an elder, Grace knew the fallout from Raymond fooling around, so she wanted to bring Selena over to give him a wake-up call.
But this didn't need Selena's involvement.
William's face turned red with anger, and he slammed the table hard. "Tell that idiot to get back here now! I don't care what he's doing! I want to see him in half an hour!"
William was so mad he could barely breathe.
Grace felt a pang of regret. If she'd known William would catch on so quickly, she wouldn't have made the call.
But now that things had blown up and William was taking it seriously, she had to bring Raymond back.
Grace stood up, didn't even glance at Selena, and walked straight out of the office to the conference room.
The meeting came to a screeching halt. When Raymond heard William was looking for him, he frowned and quickly headed to his office.
When he saw Selena, he seemed to get why she was there and said, "If it's urgent, wait for me at my hotel tonight."
He had no idea what was up with William, and he probably wouldn't be able to come back to the office.
Raymond was just stating a fact, but to Grace, who overheard it at the door, it sounded super annoying.
At first, Grace thought William was overreacting, but now she felt he definitely needed to set Raymond straight.
Selena stood up, still clueless about what was going on. When she left the office, she saw Raymond and Grace taking the private elevator down.
They got to the Montague Villa just a few minutes before William's deadline.
Raymond still didn't know why William had called him so urgently.
As he stepped into the reception room, it was eerily quiet.
William sat there, looking like he was about to explode. "You bastard! Get on your knees!"
William had the worst temper in the Montague Family.
Raymond frowned but didn't dare defy him and dropped to his knees.
William took the whip handed to him by the butler, his body shaking with rage. "How dare you cheat on Selena!"
