Chapter 231 Are You Thinking About Man?
By the time she snapped out of it, Raymond was already gone.
Selena was so startled she almost fell off the couch, her face going pale.
What was Raymond up to?
Was it because she was wearing so little, or was it the cozy atmosphere that made him lose control for a moment?
She frowned, remembering the kiss that felt like a feather on her earlobe and neck, and blushed deeply.
When Selena stood up, her legs were still shaky. She stumbled to the bathroom and saw that even her neck had turned red.
What just happened?
She splashed her face with cold water, trying to snap out of it.
But the cold water seemed to evaporate instantly from the heat.
Selena felt a sense of agitation, like someone had teased her and then walked away without a word.
Could Raymond have those feelings too?
Thinking about that night they spent together, she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep. She absentmindedly finished washing her clothes and blow-dried them.
By the time her mind cleared a bit, it was already 3 AM.
She rubbed her temples and told herself not to overthink it. They had already slept together. Maybe for Raymond, it was just the right atmosphere, and she was a woman he had been with before. A kiss didn't mean anything.
Thinking this way, she calmed down and quickly fell asleep.
After all, she hadn't rested well the previous night. If she continued to have insomnia tonight, she would feel terrible taking the bus in the morning.
She was always a bit slow on these matters. If she didn't think about it, she could calm down quickly.
After four hours of sleep, she got up at 7 AM sharp and put on all the clothes she had blow-dried.
After a few hours of cooling down, she had completely figured it out.
They were going to get divorced sooner or later. So no need to care about those things.
She walked back to the hall along the path she had taken yesterday.
Raymond was already up, talking to Harrison.
Rosalind was still clinging to him, shaking his arm.
"Last night, I called you, but you didn't answer. Did you go to bed that early?"
She was suspicious and very uneasy. Could he have not been in his room?
If he wasn't in his room, he must have been in Selena's room.
"Yeah, I went to bed early."
His voice was soft and cold. When he looked up, he met Selena's gaze.
Selena had already regained her composure and greeted the people on the couch with a smile.
"Good morning."
Rosalind snorted coldly when she saw her. "Morning? Sleeping in at someone else's house?"
Harrison quickly scolded her, "Say less. You went to knock on Raymond's door early in the morning, making him get up at five. How can you treat a guest like that!"
Rosalind stuck out her tongue. Wasn't it because she knocked on Raymond's door last night and no one answered? She was worried he had been seduced by the woman across the hall.
So she specifically went to knock on his door at five and stayed there. If Raymond had come out of the room across the hall, she would have torn apart Selena!
Fortunately, Raymond came out of his own room.
Rosalind was relieved, but she still didn't like Selena. She always felt something was off between them.
Even though she hadn't seen any flirtation between them, she had a strange feeling that their relationship was abnormal.
When Raymond heard Selena's calm voice, his hand holding the teacup paused slightly.
It was brief, and no one noticed.
Selena sat down gracefully, and Rosalind quickly noticed the dark circles under her eyes and mocked her.
"What's up? Didn't sleep well last night? What's on your mind?"
Could it be she was thinking about a man?
Raymond also turned to look at her when he heard this, but only for a moment before looking away again. Rosalind's questioning continued in his ear.
"Are you thinking about some other guy?"
