Chapter 333 Betrayal
When Selena saw the photos Shelley had taken, she was floored, her brow knitting together.
Kenny was all over the receptionist from the Fair family company. Selena had been there enough times to recognize her right away.
In the pic, Kenny had the receptionist pinned against the car seat, with just one of her ankles showing, a high heel dangling off it. Clearly, they couldn't wait to get it on in the car.
Receptionists usually had above-average looks. This one had just graduated this year; she was super young.
Kenny had been with the Fair family company for ages. He was forty but had never tied the knot.
Selena frowned. Why hadn't Kenny ever married? And if he was into this receptionist, why not just make her his girlfriend? Why all the sneaking around?
Shelley said, "Selena, Kenny's love life is pretty wild, and he's generous, too. He usually drops three grand into this receptionist's account every month, but she's not the only one. There are three or four others."
Selena's eyes widened in realization.
Kenny had been with the company for so long; his salary was pretty high. Just his annual bonus alone was in the hundreds of thousands. Keeping a few mistresses wasn't a big deal for him.
Shelley added, "Selena, I also checked some accounts linked to Kenny. One account transferred several million dollars to him. The bank has privacy settings for high-level accounts. If we spill the beans and the other party finds out, the bank could get sued, so I couldn't find out who owns that account."
Who would transfer millions to Kenny?
Selena asked, "Was it recent?"
Could it be that partner company?
Shelley said, "No, it started a few years ago; it's always from the same account; there are multiple transactions. Because the other party is a high-level client of the bank, I can't get the info for now. Sorry."
Selena noticed the hickeys on Shelley's neck and knew she had just come from Philip's bed, finding it amusing.
Selena teased, "Spending every day so close with Philip, don't you get tired of him? Be careful; if your dad finds out, he might break you two up."
Shelley glared at her. "Philip is gorgeous; how could I get tired of him? Every time he talks to me in bed, I always wish he would just fuck me to death."
Selena knew Shelley possessed a straightfoward personality, but this time her words still made Selena blush.
Selena said, "Alright, alright, I get it; he's amazing."
Shelley found it funny and patted her shoulder. "Not just amazing, once you experience the pleasures of a man, you'll understand. Selena, you're still a virgin, right?"
Selena's breath hitched, and some fragments flashed through her mind. "So what?"
Her whole body heated up, her face turning bright red.
Shelley's sharp eyes captured her change immediately.
Shelley said, "Selena, something's up with you; you didn't already sleep with a man, did you?"
Selena wasn't good at lying in front of her.
Shelley immediately became earnest. "Actually, it's no big deal. People should live in the moment, not in relationships. Raymond clearly isn't interested in you. You're stuck in this marriage; you can't go your whole life without sex. It's only natural to seek some excitement, but keep it secret. Otherwise, if the Montague family finds out, no one can save you."
Selena felt a bit embarrassed, not wanting to continue this topic.
Shelley always thought Selena was a rule-follower, never expecting her to get a fling one day.
Shelley felt like she had found a kindred spirit and eagerly nudged her shoulder. "Who did you hook up with; do I know him? How was it? Did it feel like discovering a whole new world?"
Selena's cheeks reddened more and more. She brushed it off, "It was alright."
Shelley immediately gave a thumbs up. "You cheated on Raymond; you're really something. But there's no need to feel guilty, he cheated first. He's probably been sleeping with Olivia abroad for a while now. I really envy Olivia that she got to sleep with Raymond. That body with that face, just touching it is a win!"
Shelley was someone who really liked good looks; otherwise, she wouldn't have fallen for Philip, who was a poor guy.
Since Selena married Raymond, Shelley had always talked about Raymond's face.
But everyone knew, Raymond's looks were the least remarkable of his many qualities.
