Chapter 303 They Are in Love

Selena was kinda surprised; Steve was actually out of the country to attend seminars, and hadn't come back to Silver Bay City yet.

Steve never mentioned this to her, and she didn't expect Olivia to be into painting, either.

Selena remembered Carter saying Raymond had some artistic talent, so it made sense Olivia was into painting, too. Otherwise, what would they have talked about back then?

Mia said, "Selena, I wish Raymond would just divorce his wife. I want you to be my sister-in-law."

Selena was checking out a giant king crab when she heard that and quickly waved her hand. "You can't say stuff like that."

Mia stuck out her tongue. "It's just us here; I'm just being honest. But Raymond likes Olivia, so if he gets divorced, he'll probably marry her. Hey, if Raymond and Olivia get married, will you come?"

Selena said, "That would be nice. They love each other; I might come. Let's see if Mr. Montague invites me."

Just as she finished talking, Mia called out behind her. "Raymond, why aren't you and Olivia going in?"

Selena stiffened and turned around to see Raymond and Olivia standing behind her.

Olivia looked pretty pleased, and her gaze at Selena wasn't sharp anymore. It seemed like she heard what Selena just said.

Since Olivia heard it, Raymond probably did too.

Selena felt like a heavy gaze was on her.

But Raymond just glanced at Selena indifferently, then looked away and walked inside without a word.

Olivia jogged to catch up, sweetly talking to him.

Olivia said, "Raymond, you'll still invite Penny, right? After all, she's your valued designer."

Raymond paused. "She will be invited."

Olivia thought he was agreeing to marry her, and her smile grew wider. "Alright, it's up to you."

Selena stood there, feeling relieved only after they walked away.

Mia looked at her curiously. "Why do you seem so uneasy around Raymond? Did he bully you?"

Bully? As soon as the word came out, Selena thought of the scene where she was forcefully pinned against the foyer cabinet. The surge of hormones in that moment still made her heart race.

Selena quickly looked away, pretending to keep observing the fish tank in front of her. "No, he's my employer, and I'll be working for him in the future."

Mia didn't think much of it and joined her in looking at the seafood in the large fish tank.

Mia said, "Speaking of which, when you were renovating Manston Manor, did Olivia interfere? That's her and Raymond's wedding house, so she must be quite pleased. After all, she's the only girlfriend Raymond has publicly acknowledged."

Selena didn't like talking behind people's backs. Besides, it didn't matter if Olivia was not good; as long as Raymond liked her, that was enough.

Selena said, "Since it's her wedding house, she certainly has the right to ask for changes."

Mia couldn't help but glance at her and chuckle. "Penny, you have such a good temper."

The interior of the estate was huge. This wasn't a high-society banquet but more of a casual gathering of young people from the circle, so they didn't dress up formally.

On the contrary, everyone seemed very relaxed; they sat in small groups discussing recent events in Silver Bay City.

The men sat together talking business and data, while the women gossiped and discussed luxury goods.

"By the way, did you see the news about Raymond's wife? Is she really like that?"

"It's all over the place. What was she thinking? She was about to marry Raymond, yet she was still fooling around outside? Do you think Raymond ever touched her? She was probably just lonely."

Sofia was sitting next to this group of socialites. The Stone family wasn't a wealthy family, so she couldn't join the conversation. She felt lucky just to be there.

At that moment, Sofia looked towards the entrance and saw Raymond and Olivia coming in, so she quickly stood up.

Sofia said, "Olivia, you're finally here."

Everyone's attention was drawn to the entrance.

Olivia felt like she was in the spotlight, especially since the people here were all outstanding members of Silver Bay City's rich heirs.

At these gatherings, most men brought female companions.

Olivia smiled. The one standing next to Raymond was her instead of his long-forgotten wife.
