Chapter 77 The Sexiest Spots on the Human Body
That night's scene popped back into Raymond's head.
He remembered those two little dimples on Selena's lower back, right above her sacrum. In art, they say that's one of the sexiest spots on the human body.
Right now, Selena had her back to Raymond, her silhouette all graceful and slightly arched. It reminded him of that night when he held her waist during sex.
Raymond's eyelashes fluttered, and he swallowed hard.
The air started to get a bit charged with desire. Selena, holding a paintbrush, felt a warm flush spreading through her body.
She heard footsteps coming closer, and a wave of heat hit her from behind. She tensed up, but Raymond just brushed past her to grab another paintbrush.
His chest barely touched her back for a split second, but that warmth seemed to seep right through their clothes.
Selena froze, not daring to move, watching as Raymond dipped the brush into her palette and made a few strokes on the wall.
He didn't mess up the painting; his ideas totally matched Selena's. She had planned to handle that area the same way.
She quickly pushed other thoughts out of her mind and kept painting calmly.
Raymond might've just wanted to practice a bit, so after a few strokes, he put the brush down.
Selena reminded him, “Mr. Montague, it's late. Aren't you going to rest?”
“Headache,” Raymond replied lightly.
Selena went quiet, calming her emotions as she got back to finishing her painting.
An hour later, she couldn't help but glance back.
Raymond was long gone, and the space behind her was empty.
She sighed in relief and worked even faster.
She kept at it until seven in the morning, feeling like she was floating as she walked, but she finally finished.
She cleaned up the brushes and palette, knowing someone would come to tidy up later, and groggily headed back to her room.
After a quick shower, she collapsed onto her bed and fell asleep almost instantly.
The painting on the white wall was done, and the cleaning staff had already started their day.
Raymond finished his morning business when he heard John knocking, saying someone had invited him to dine.
Raymond left his room and saw several local Ridgefield business leaders waiting outside.
After some small talk, they mentioned that a batch of high-quality ingredients had arrived late last night, and they wanted to use them to entertain a distinguished guest like Raymond.
Unable to refuse their hospitality, Raymond followed them out.
As they walked to the hall, they passed by the wall.
One of them stopped and couldn't help but praise, “Mr. Montague, do you like this painting? Yesterday, you mentioned that the white wall was too plain. It just so happened that the girl who got into Silver Bay University's art school returned, so we invited her over, and she completed it in just one night.”
Talking about Selena, the leader's face lit up with a smile, “That girl is amazing. She used to go to school here. Because her mother passed away, her father had to take care of the business alone. She attended high school here and became the only one from Ridgefield to get into Silver Bay University's art school. No one has broken her record yet, and she even won a $600,000 scholarship.”
Raymond smiled, calm yet charming. "She did a great job, living up to the reputation of her alma mater."
Hearing Raymond's praise, the leader's smile widened. Naturally, they wanted to get on the good side of a wealthy man like Raymond.
When Raymond mentioned the plain white wall, they immediately invited Selena to fill it.
It seemed they had chosen the right person.
The leader added, “Mr. Montague, would you like to meet her? I can have someone bring her over."
“No need,” Raymond responded with a faint smile.
Selena probably stayed up all night.
