With an unreserved gaze, Maggie met his eyes directly. "Just to whet your appetite, you do look rather appetizing," she said, taking a seat and sliding the breakfast of milk and pancakes towards Fiorello. It was a simple American breakfast, the kind she often prepared since Fiorello never voiced any complaints about the food.Maggie abruptly changed the subject. "Did you hear about the CEO of Visionary Futures Group getting married?" "Yes, I did," Fiorello replied, a hint of nervousness creeping into his voice. "How did you find out?" Only insiders were privy to the fact that he had tied the knot, and there was no information about the bride. Maggie was not an insider, so her knowledge of this news was perplexing. Fiorello was careful to keep any information about Maggie away from the public eye, preventing any rumors about him from spreading online."I heard it from Emily's friend, who also happens to be my colleague," Maggie explained. "I didn't expect Emily to be a young lady from the Roberts family. She used to have a crush on Mr. Flores. When she heard he got married, her heart broke.
