Chapter 470 Chaos

The Maggie murder case blew up fast.

Dulce was in the middle of a busy day at the beauty salon when she overheard everyone buzzing about the murder.

Her curiosity got the best of her, so she went over to check it out. She was floored to see Maggie trending for murder. It just didn't seem real.

When she dug a little deeper, she found out Maggie had killed Kimberly. Somehow, that made a twisted kind of sense to her.

Dulce quickly handed the salon over to the manager and bolted out the door, heading straight for the police station.

As she drove, she called Fiorello. The second he picked up, she blurted out, "Fiorello, what the heck is going on? Did Maggie really kill Kimberly? Is she at the police station now? What are you gonna do? Are the Flores gonna sue her?"

Dulce was more worried about Fiorello's reaction, knowing it would decide Maggie's fate.

She floored it, hitting 120 mph. When Fiorello didn't answer right away, she shouted, "Fiorello, you can't just leave Maggie hanging. She's been through hell since losing her kid. You're her last hope. Don't push her further down; you gotta help her out."

All Dulce wanted was for Maggie to be fine. Kimberly's death didn't matter to her.

Fiorello finally spoke after a long pause, "Maggie's lucky to have a friend like you."

Then he hung up. He didn't have time to explain to Dulce because Arya was calling.

Arya had seen the news too and was frantically trying to reach Fiorello.

Fiorello's phone was blowing up with calls from Holden, Benjamin, the Flores Family, Joseph, and Eleanor.

He only picked up Arya's call. Before she could say anything, he said, "Mom, don't worry about Maggie. Just take care of Adalia and keep her in the dark. I'll handle the rest."

That calmed Arya a bit, but she was still uneasy. Maggie had committed murder and was facing prison time.

After talking to Arya, Fiorello called William. "Scrub all the online comments for me."

Next, he called Brian. "Get all the Flores Family members to the Flores Mansion and wait."

After those calls, Fiorello put his phone on silent, tossed it aside, and drove to the suburban reservoir.

With Maggie in jail and Fiorello unreachable, all the Flores gathered at the mansion, cursing Maggie. Joseph sat at the head of the table, looking devastated, while Eleanor sat quietly beside him.

Everyone demanded answers from Fiorello. Holden, unable to calm them down, pulled Brian aside and asked, "Where's Fiorello?"

Brian, stone-faced, replied, "I don't know."

Holden was frustrated. "How can you not know? Why did Fiorello ask you to bring everyone here then?"

Brian repeated, "I don't know."

Holden was livid. "How can you know nothing?"

"I really don't know. Mr. Flores just told me to bring everyone here and didn't say where he was going."

Holden gritted his teeth. "You're just as infuriating as Fiorello."

"Holden, where's Fiorello?" Benjamin had just arrived at the mansion after hearing the news.

Seeing Benjamin, Holden said, "I want to know where Fiorello is even more than you do."

Benjamin asked, "Did Maggie really do it?"

Holden nodded.

Benjamin was stunned. "Maggie actually did it. She's thrown her life away. Fiorello lost his kid, then his grandma, and now his wife's in jail. Is Fiorello gonna do something crazy? With all this going on, where could he be? The Flores are demanding answers, and it's a mess."

The noise from the Flores could be heard outside. If Brian hadn't brought bodyguards to keep them inside and taken their phones, it would've been even worse.

"Where could Fiorello be?" Holden thought for a moment and then it hit him. "I think I know where he went. Benjamin, get in the car, quick."
