Chapter 637 Lost Track

Jenny heard she was being followed and instinctively glanced at the rearview mirror, only to find that there really was a car tailing her.

Jenny was very apprehensive. Why was she being followed by Fiorello's people?

And how did Kyle know she was being followed?

At that moment, Jenny realized that she had always been under Kyle's control and couldn't escape at all.

Jenny didn't dare to change lanes and could only keep driving forward, heading towards the suburbs to avoid areas with surveillance cameras.

Jenny was very flustered and scared. Had Fiorello discovered her?

Or had Gregory found out and betrayed her?

Gregory hated her so much; if he had really found out, he wouldn't have actively arranged to meet her.

Brian was following behind. Seeing Jenny's car heading towards the suburbs and speeding up, he sensed something was wrong.

Brian accelerated to catch up, intending to take Jenny away directly. At the traffic light, as he was about to go through the green light, a car suddenly ran the red light from the left.

Instinctively, Brian hit the brakes, and the car behind him also braked, causing a cacophony of honking at the intersection, with people cursing from behind.

The car that ran the red light almost caused a multi-car collision, with several cars now blocking the road, while the offending car drove away.

This delay caused Brian to lose track of Jenny's car, and he quickly reported to Fiorello.

Sunset Hills.

Fiorello had just returned from dinner with Maggie when he received Brian's call. Fiorello was somewhat surprised; it was the first time someone had managed to lose Brian.

After hearing what happened, Fiorello said, "You were discovered. It seems this Christina is really something. Kyle found a good one this time."

"How did she find out? Fiorello, I still don't get it," Brian said. He had been very careful in his tailing. Most people, especially women, only pay attention to the car in front and not what's behind. He had only been following for a dozen miles and was discovered. It was too strange.

"No matter how good you are, there's always someone better," Fiorello pondered for a moment and said, "Forget about Christina for now. There's a situation with Kevin. I've sent William's men over. You should go too. By tomorrow morning, I want to hear that Kevin is dead. If something happens to Kevin, Jenny won't be able to stay calm."

"Understood, Fiorello. I'm on my way."

Fiorello hung up the phone, his gaze deep as he looked into the distance, sorting out the relationships between Gregory, Kyle, and Christina in his mind.

Maggie was downstairs chatting with Adalia's new teacher, Celine. Celine had taught Adalia for a day and was reporting the situation to Maggie.

Celine smiled and said, "This child is very smart and learns quickly. She was a bit resistant at first, but she got better gradually. I found that Adalia is very interested in being a pharmacist."

"Thank you, Ms. Hughes," Maggie said. "Adalia wanted to be a pharmacist before. She even had a mentor, but now, she might not be able to become a doctor."

How could a mute person become a doctor? How would she communicate with patients?

Isabella had ruined Adalia's life. Thinking of this made Maggie feel sad.

"If Adalia is interested, she can continue to learn. It will always be useful," Celine said from a teacher's perspective. "A child's interest is the best teacher. As long as she is willing and talented, learning with a good mood can yield great results."

"Thank you for the suggestion, Ms. Hughes. You've worked hard today," Maggie said, thinking she would discuss with Dylan later to see if he was willing to continue teaching Adalia.

It was very late, and Celine needed to leave.

After she left, Maggie went upstairs to check on Adalia and saw Fiorello in the room, drawing with Adalia. She didn't want to disturb them and walked away.

Maggie went to Arya's room to talk about Mark.

When Maggie reached the door, she overheard Arya on the phone with Mark.

Arya said, "Let Maggie decide. She already said she doesn't want your company. Don't bother her. She's pregnant and doesn't have the time or energy."

Mark was trying to persuade Arya to convince Maggie to help him get the company back.

Maggie walked in and signaled Arya to hand her the phone. She wanted to talk to Mark.

Arya handed the phone to Maggie. Maggie sat down and asked Mark on the other end, "If you want to get the CEO position back, who will react the most? Who will be the calmest?"
