Chapter 314 The Electric Baton
Ashley was already in a state of panic. She didn't care whether Maggie's bone marrow was a match or not. She would extract it first and then conduct the matching test. If it were suitable, there would be no need for a second attempt.
Ashley planned to anesthetize Maggie and extract her bone marrow stem cells to save her own daughter.
This was why she had Mark deceive Maggie into coming to London.
If Maggie refused, they would resort to force.
Holden, hiding behind the curtain, could clearly hear the conversation outside. He was horrified instantly. This was so crazy.
If Maggie hadn't been foresighted and prepared, she would have been drugged by the two people, taken to the clinic, and had her bone marrow extracted without her knowledge.

With that, Holden hurriedly left through the back door.
Just as he left, the middle-aged man and Ashley walked in.
Ashley noticed someone was missing and asked Kevin, "Where's Matthew?"
Kevin, who was actually quite timid, usually only engaged in petty thefts. When caught, they would spend a few months in jail.
This time, they were truly desperate, with no money for food. By sheer coincidence, they met Ashley, who offered twenty thousand dollars to kidnap someone.

"What, are you stuttering now too?" Ashley frowned. "Never mind, you can leave."
Turning to the middle-aged man, Ashley said, "Quentin Sanders, you better act quickly before she wakes up."
Just as Quentin was about to step forward, the person on the hospital bed suddenly sat up.
The sheet slipped off, revealing Matthew, who was still in a daze. He looked around.
Kevin, at this moment, finished his earlier sentence. "I am."
Ashley was stunned by the sudden turn of events. Seeing it wasn't Maggie, she screamed sharply, "Where is she? Where's the person I told you to kidnap? Why are you lying here? Where's Maggie?"
Ashley's loud outburst scared both Matthew and Kevin. Matthew quickly got off the bed.
Kevin stammered, "We don't know."
"You don't know? You're the kidnappers!" Ashley was furious. Realizing the gravity of the situation, her face turned pale. "Oh no. How dare Maggie plot against me!"
Quentin also looked serious. "Ashley, this is troublesome. If they have any evidence and report you, not only you but I will also be implicated."
Hearing this, Ashley panicked even more and hurriedly interrogated the two, "Did you say anything to that little bitch? Did you mention me?"
They replied in unison, "We told her everything."
Ashley nearly fainted from anger.
At the hotel.
Maggie was in her room, having already received a call from Holden and learned of Ashley's intentions.
Ashley wanted to kidnap her and take her to a black clinic to extract her bone marrow. What a vicious method!
It seemed she had indeed underestimated Ashley before.
Holden had obtained the evidence, and with it, Maggie could press charges against Ashley.
After ending the call with Holden, Maggie decided not to rush into the next step. Tonight, Ashley probably wouldn't get any sleep.
Letting Ashley suffer some psychological torment was also a good idea.
