Chapter 740 Memories of a Cup of Coffee

Melissa's words startled Timothy.

Timothy was dumbfounded, "Melissa, are you crazy? Are you really going to do this? You want to marry Fiorello?"

"Do you think I'm pretending?" Melissa said confidently with a smile, "Timothy, only a man like Fiorello is worthy of me, and only I am worthy of him. As long as we get married, even if things go south, I won't be afraid."

Timothy objected, "This won't work. Aren't you becoming someone's mistress and ruining another family?"

Hearing this, Melissa retorted unhappily, "Timothy, are you saying your sister is someone else's mistress?"

Realizing his words were too harsh, Timothy explained, "Melissa, I'm worried you'll get hurt. Fiorello doesn't love you. What if he remembers Maggie and his family back in Cyberland? What will you do then?"

"I can have children for him, too," Melissa said firmly. "He now goes by Ryan and has nothing to do with the Flores family. Timothy, you love me the most. Please help me. Don't you want your sister to marry an outstanding man?"

"Of course, I want you to marry someone you love, but..." Timothy was conflicted.

"Fiorello is the one I love. Timothy, you have to help me," Melissa tugged at Timothy's sleeve, acting spoiled as she used to. "Timothy, you're the best. Once Fiorello and I get a marriage certificate and start a new family, I'm confident that even if he remembers the past someday, he won't abandon me."

Faced with his sister's pleading, Timothy couldn't resist. After some inner conflict, he nodded, "Alright, whatever you want, I'll help you achieve it."

"Timothy, you're the best," Melissa said happily, hugging Timothy.

Seeing his sister happy, Timothy also smiled. He had no big wishes in life, just hoping to see his sister happy and healthy, a promise he had made to her.

No matter how Melissa changed or what she did, in Timothy's eyes, she would always be the kind-hearted, gentle, and frail sister who had been sick in the hospital for years and needed protection.

Timothy remembered something and said, "By the way, when I came out earlier, I heard Dad say he's going to Cyberland."

Melissa pulled away from Timothy's embrace and said, "Is he going to see that mother and daughter again?"

Mentioning Arya and Maggie, Melissa's eyes were filled with anger, lacking the previous gentleness and sweetness.

"Yes," Timothy was also annoyed with Mark for being entangled with Arya and her daughter. "Fiorello is missing with no news. I heard Maggie is still in San Diego, and now Visionary Futures Group is managed by Holden and Gregory."

"Gregory?" Melissa was surprised. "That illegitimate child who didn't want to join the Flores family and always opposed Fiorello? Why is he willing to help now?"

Timothy said, "After all, they share the same last name. Even if they're not harmonious, they are still blood-related."

Timothy understood sibling relationships the best, just like his relationship with Melissa. No matter what Melissa did, whether she used him or acted willfully, he tolerated it. She was his only sister. If he didn't spoil her, who would?

Fiorello unknowingly walked to the commercial street. It was bustling with people and many shops doing brisk business.

He stopped in front of a coffee shop and suddenly paused.

Looking at the coffee shop's name, 'Tea Avenue,' some vague images flashed through his mind. He vaguely remembered someone had once treated him to coffee.

He walked in, and the Tea Avenue staff asked, "What would you like to drink?"

Fiorello glanced at the menu and said, "A cup of coffee, please. Thank you."

He didn't know what coffee tasted like, just vaguely remembered having it before.

After paying, the staff quickly prepared a cup of coffee and handed it to him, "Here's your coffee. Have a nice day."

Fiorello took a sip through the straw. It was sweet and quite tasty.

The first time he had coffee was when Maggie treated him at an open-air market. He had forgotten about it, only vaguely remembering having coffee before.

Drinking his coffee, he continued walking and saw a stand selling sundaes, with many people gathered around.

Some vague memories surfaced again, as if someone had told him that this sundae smelled bad but tasted good.

Fiorello touched his nose and went over to buy one. However, it smelled too bad, and the stand didn't seem very hygienic. He bought it but didn't dare to eat it and threw it away.

Fiorello spent the whole morning wandering around the commercial street, eating and drinking. Desmond followed behind, reporting to Melissa.

Desmond was taking photos with his phone when suddenly a familiar figure appeared in the frame—it was Mark.
