Chapter 239 Starting a Healthy Lifestyle

Fiorello didn't know that the better he treated Maggie, the more distressed she felt.
His kisses were still tender.
Her hand reached for his belt...
"Maggie." Fiorello grabbed her hand, stopping her. "Your waist injury hasn't healed yet."
"I want it." Maggie pushed him onto the bed and laid on top of him. "I know what I'm doing."
With that, she leaned down and kissed him passionately.
Maggie had never been this forward before. Her soft hands slipped into his clothes.
That night, he was even gentler than before, afraid of hurting her.
Afterward, Maggie, reluctant to part, lightly traced his face with her index finger in the dim light, outlining his facial features.
He held her, sensing her unusual emotions, and said, "Go to sleep."
He knew Maggie wasn't ready to confess to him yet. She had something on her mind, likely related to that matter.
During dinner today, he, who was always observant, also noticed that Dulce and Arya were acting a bit off.
"Okay." She softly replied, closed her eyes, and fell asleep, perhaps too tired, quickly drifting off.
Fiorello couldn't sleep. In the dim light, he used his arm as a pillow for her, gazing affectionately at her sleeping face.
We needed to address some things in advance. The next day.
Maggie got up early to make breakfast for the whole family.
Arya also woke up early. When she heard a noise, she got up, leaning on her cane, intending to help in the kitchen.
However, Maggie drove her out and asked her to sit and rest in the living room.

Arya went to the children's room to check on Adalia. Adalia was still sleeping, and seeing the child asleep made one feel sorry for her.

The bruises from the beatings were still visible on her body.
Fiorello was getting ready in the bedroom, came out after freshening up, and Maggie had breakfast ready as well.

"You have to go to work, so eat first. Later, I'll wait for Adalia to wake up, and we can eat together." Maggie didn't wake Adalia up. She wanted her to rest a bit more.

With Arya and Adalia at home, Fiorello didn't have to worry about Maggie having idle thoughts.

"The weather is nice today. When Adalia wakes up, you can take her to buy a few sets of new clothes," Fiorello said, "I've arranged for her to have a week off from school. She can stay at home for a few days before going back."

Maggie also had the same plan and said with a smile, "Yes, we should buy Adalia a few sets of new clothes."

Arya came out of Adalia's room, and Maggie said, "Mom, sit down and have your meal."

"That child is sleeping so soundly," Arya said with a smile as she sat down.

Adalia had no chance to sleep in a bed at Susan's house. When the weather changed, it was normal to push her outside to sleep.
In the current cold Cyberland, being able to sleep in an air-conditioned room with a warm bed was definitely the best sleep Adalia had in the past two years.

Fiorello had breakfast and headed to the company. Maggie waited for Adalia to wake up, and they had breakfast together before taking Adalia to the nearby mall.

Since Arya had difficulty moving around, she stayed at home and did some household chores within her capabilities.

Although having elders and children at home added pressure, the household also felt warmer.
Visionary Futures Group.

Holden arrived early in the morning at the president's office to talk to Fiorello.
"Fiorello, was what you said last night true? Are you lying to Mom and Dad? It's just us now, so tell me the truth."

Fiorello knowingly asked, "What truth?"

"Fiorello, you don't seem like someone who's infertile," Holden said, "After "Following your words last night, Mom and Dad set a curfew for me again. I have to be home by ten o'clock and maintain a regular schedule. Look at this healthy soup. Dad brewed it this morning and asked me to drink it."

Fiorello glanced at the health soup in Holden's hand and raised an eyebrow. "Good. Take good care of your health. Our family relies on you to have children."

"Fiorello, I'm only twenty-five. Starting to take care of my health at this age, I'll lose face when I go out," Holden said.

Fiorello gave him a look. "Use an opaque cup."

"Fiorello, it's not about the cup."

"Yes, it's about your brain," Fiorello said leisurely, "Next time, have Dad give you more B-complex vitamins. Boost your brain."

Using a transparent cup for healthy soup and showing off in that manner indicated a mental health issue.
Holden said, "Speechless."

Fiorello asked, "Did you investigate Kathy's matter?"
