Chapter 615 Return Everything

Olivia saw Isabella in the interrogation room, tightly holding Isabella's hand, crying, "Isabella, don't be afraid. I'll find a way to get you out. I'll plead with Arya. She's soft-hearted. If I beg enough times, she'll agree."

"Mom, don't beg anyone for my sake," Isabella said. "I knew this day would come. Maybe this is the best place for me. I don't see much hope in this life anyway. This is fine. Mom, you always taught me to be proud, to never look at others' faces for approval. We have our dignity and never need to beg."

The Adams family had a house, and Olivia had lived happily for the past thirty years, envied by friends and family.

Isabella was the only daughter of the Adams family, cherished and pampered by Olivia and Frank. She had never suffered or been wronged.

Olivia regretted deeply, holding Isabella's hand, tears streaming down her face, "Isabella, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have let you marry James back then, or compared you to Maggie."

Seeing Isabella being taken to prison, Olivia realized she had been too strong-willed.

"Mom," Isabella said calmly, "You must keep that matter a secret."

That was the real reason Isabella wanted to see Olivia.

Isabella would rather die than reveal that Adalia was Fiorello's biological daughter.

She wanted to keep a thorn forever between Fiorello and Maggie, preventing them from ever being truly happy.

She wanted everyone to remember that Maggie had a stain on her reputation.

Olivia understood Isabella's intention and gritted her teeth, saying, "Don't worry, I won't say a word."

Having one's own daughter right in front of them without knowing it was a huge regret. Olivia wanted Fiorello and Maggie to live with that regret.

Isabella added, "Mom, don't beg them for my sake. They won't let me go. You and Dad take care of yourselves."

"Don't worry, your dad and I will be fine. We'll wait for you to come out. I asked the lawyer; the most you'll get is ten years. Ten years will pass quickly."

This was Olivia's only hope.

Visiting time was over, and Isabella was taken away. Olivia's eyes were red as she left the police station and ran into Fiorello.

Olivia was scared, worried that Fiorello would use his power to make Isabella suffer inside or cause some accident.

Given the Flores family's social status, it was possible that Isabella could die in prison.

"Mr. Flores, Mr. Flores," Olivia pleaded, "Isabella truly knows she was wrong. Let her go. We accept the prison sentence. Just consider it as accumulating good fortune for your future children."

Fiorello originally didn't want to respond to Olivia, but the last sentence about accumulating good fortune for his children made him think of the pregnant Maggie.

Fiorello used to be autocratic and never considered others. After Maggie, he had vulnerabilities and became much softer in his actions.

"Isabella's actions will be judged by the law," Fiorello said, leaving those words as he entered the police station.

Olivia didn't know about Maggie's pregnancy; she was referring to Adalia but couldn't say it outright.

She didn't understand Fiorello's intentions. Fiorello must have come to the police station because of Isabella taking Adalia. Olivia didn't dare leave; she had to stay at the police station to ensure Isabella was okay.

Fiorello didn't go to see Isabella; there was no need. He just came to chat with the chief about the case of Adalia being taken. His views on the case were conveyed during their "chat."

Shortly after Fiorello left the police station, Isabella was transferred and placed with a group of extremely dangerous female inmates.

These women had committed serious crimes and were as ruthless as men.

Isabella, being new, was immediately targeted by these inmates, who first destroyed her voice.

Once Isabella entered that place, it was like entering hell.

Maggie knew what Fiorello had done at the police station. Seeing Adalia's current state, she felt that no punishment for Isabella was too severe.

A mother would go to any lengths when her child was harmed.

Adalia was now very afraid of the dark and needed to sleep with the lights on.

Adalia couldn't express what she wanted and could only use hand gestures. Every time Maggie saw Adalia like this, her heart ached.

Dulce, upon learning that Adalia had been found, came to visit early the next morning.

When she found out that Adalia couldn't speak, she was furious and cursed, "Isabella is such a bastard."
