According to Maggie's description, doctors conducted allergen tests on Adalia.
The results showed that Adalia was indeed allergic to onions.
After more than half an hour of rescue and medication, Adalia's allergic reaction was brought under control.
However, most of the contents in her stomach were vomited out, leaving her weak and exhausted, looking particularly pitiful.
When Adalia was wheeled out of the emergency room, Maggie looked at her, her eyes immediately turning red.

Seeing Adalia safely coming out of the emergency room, her heart finally relaxed.

Back in the ward, Maggie fed Adalia some water to replenish her strength while Fiorello went to buy some light food for Adalia to eat.

Fiorello had already put Adalia to sleep, sitting on the edge of the bed, holding Adalia's hand, and looking at her with affection in his eyes.

She walked over, circled her arms around his waist from behind, and pressed her face against his sturdy back.

Maggie was taken aback. "Why? Don't you like children very much? Why?"
She thought about her infertility and her recent hospitalization. Did Fiorello know about her infertility early on?
Maggie was conflicted. "I'm sorry. I've been wanting to tell you about it. I..."
She had intended to confess about her infertility, but before she could finish her sentence, she heard him say, "I have infertility."
At his words, Maggie looked at him in astonishment, thinking she must have misheard.
"What did you say?"
He repeated. "I have infertility, Maggie. I can't let you be a mother; I'm sorry. During the company health check-up earlier, the doctor said my sperm are mostly inactive, and I'm almost impossible to have children."
His words shocked Maggie.
Maggie felt no sense of relief; she only felt injustice. Why did such misfortune befall them both simultaneously?
