Chapter 434 Peeping

Fiorello grinned. "You keep Isabella company. I need to handle something in the study."

"Go ahead," Maggie said, feeling her face heat up.

Fiorello left, and Maggie quickly freshened up, changed into comfy clothes, and went downstairs to meet Isabella.

Adalia was at school, and Arya was out meeting old colleagues from the hotel.

Isabella was in the living room. Ariel poured her a cup of coffee. Seeing Maggie, she smiled, "Mrs. Flores, want some lemonade?"

Five months pregnant, Maggie still had morning sickness and preferred lemonade.

"Sure, thanks, Ariel. Also, could you make me some breakfast? Pasta would be great," Maggie said.

"Of course," Ariel laughed and headed to the kitchen, giving Maggie and Isabella some space.

Isabella placed a bag of coffee beans on the table. "This is a new product from my shop. It's safe for pregnant women."

"Thanks," Maggie smiled. "How's business?"

"Pretty good. We're making a profit. We should break even in a year, then I'll open another branch," Isabella said proudly.

"Really? That's amazing, Isabella," Maggie praised.

Isabella glanced upstairs. "Doesn't your husband need to go to the office today?"

"He's staying home with me today, busy in the study," Maggie said shyly.

"Maggie, you're so lucky. Fiorello makes money by the minute. Him staying home must cost a fortune," Isabella said enviously.

"It's not that dramatic," Maggie said. "He needs rest too. Holden's at the company."

"What's the deal with the Flores family's illegitimate child? Will it affect Fiorello?" Isabella asked.

"It's not a secret anymore. Some people know about it," Maggie said. "My in-laws haven't reconciled because of it."

"Faithful men are rare, especially when their wives are pregnant. Research says 80% of men cheat during this time," Isabella said, watching Maggie's reaction. "But I'm not talking about Fiorello."

"It's okay," Maggie forced a smile, feeling a bit uncomfortable. "I need to use the restroom. Make yourself at home."

"Sure," Isabella smiled.

Once Maggie left, Isabella looked around. The house was top-notch in decor, size, and location, worth billions in Cyberland. Arya had mentioned it was under Maggie's name.

Isabella felt another wave of envy. Her previous affluent life seemed insignificant compared to this.

Every table, every cup here was incredibly valuable.

Isabella's hand caressed a table worth hundreds of thousands, her gaze drifting upstairs.

Upstairs was the man she admired.

Thinking about Fiorello and Maggie passionately kissing earlier, Isabella felt a pang in her heart.

Her feet moved involuntarily towards the stairs. She didn't know where the study was but walked lightly on the carpeted hallway and eventually found it.

The study door was open, and she saw Fiorello by the floor-to-ceiling window, talking on the phone. Her heart skipped a beat.
