Chapter 355 Catching the Cheater

Hearing the voice, Maggie instinctively frowned. It was Jenny. She was everywhere.

Kimberly's face lit up when she saw Jenny. "Jenny, why are you so late? Come sit with me."

Everyone knew how much Kimberly liked Jenny.

Holden, on the other hand, didn't care for her; he thought she was too scheming.

Jenny sat down with a smile, greeting Mrs. Perez and Mrs. Turner.

Lenora squinted at Jenny. "Who is this? Looks like she's had a lot of work done; I didn't recognize her."

Lenora was blunt and wore reading glasses, so she didn't see clearly. This made Maggie and Holden chuckle.

Jenny's smile faltered, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Kimberly chimed in, "This is Kevin's daughter, Jenny. You didn't recognize her?"

Everyone knew Kevin, but Lenora didn't know Jenny. She shook her head and said, "Didn't recognize her. She's pretty, but her chin's too sharp."

Lenora had a way with words.

Jenny's face kept changing, but she stayed quiet.

Kimberly looked at Jenny's chin and said, "It's fine. Jenny's the granddaughter-in-law I have my eye on."

Ruby immediately asked, "Is Holden with this girl?"

Holden quickly said, "Mrs. Perez, I'm single."

Kimberly added, "No, I want Jenny with Fiorello. They used to play together as kids. She even said she wanted to marry him. I thought they'd be a good match and wanted her as my granddaughter-in-law."

Kimberly didn't care that Maggie was there; she said it on purpose.

Jenny shyly added, "Kimberly, that was when we were kids. You still remember."

Holden reminded, "Grandma, Fiorello's married now. It's not appropriate to say this."

Lenora added, "Good thing Fiorello didn't marry this girl. She doesn't look easy to get along with."

Kimberly glared at Lenora. "Jenny is great. You're just old and can't see clearly."

Lenora argued, "I'm not wrong. This girl doesn't look easy to get along with. Maggie seems like a good person."

Maggie, who hadn't planned to speak, got a jealous look from Jenny because of Lenora's words.

Maggie felt helpless. She hadn't said anything. With Lenora and Ruby talking, she didn't need to.

She had been helping the two elderly ladies earlier, and they could see that Kimberly didn't like Maggie. Since Maggie had helped them, they wanted to help her too.

The two elderly ladies didn't want Kimberly to make a mistake and lose a good granddaughter-in-law.

Hearing this, Kimberly sneered. "I really didn't see it. She's been married to Fiorello for so long and still hasn't gotten pregnant."

Kimberly knew Maggie couldn't have children but couldn't say it outright, as it would be embarrassing.

Ruby said, "Children are a matter of fate. Maybe she'll get pregnant someday. Kimberly, I told you before that you'd have bad luck this year but also meet people who would help you. You should cherish those who help you."

Holden couldn't get a word in with the elderly ladies chatting away.

Kimberly stubbornly said, "Jenny is the one helping me. What's wrong with you all today? You're my friends, but you're taking someone else's side. We're done here today. Jenny, come have dinner with me."

Throwing a tantrum, Kimberly dragged Jenny away.

Lenora and Ruby could only sigh.

Maggie signaled to Holden. "Go after them."

Holden quickly followed. Ruby turned to Maggie, "Kimberly is still the same as ever. Maggie, don't be mad. That's just how she is."

Lenora added, "We've known Kimberly for decades. We know her temper. It'll pass."

Maggie thanked them, "Thank you both for speaking up for me earlier."

Ruby smiled. "You're welcome, Maggie. You're good at playing cards. Let's play again sometime."

Lenora laughed. "But next time, bring Holden along. He helped you a lot today, and Mrs. Perez and I rarely win."

Maggie smiled sheepishly, "You two see through everything. I'm not good at cards, so I had to find help."

Ruby laughed. "We like playing cards with people who aren't good at it."

Since they were friends with Kimberly, they must understand her well. Maggie had an idea and smiled. "Mrs. Perez, Mrs. Turner, it's lunchtime. Let me treat you to lunch and ask for advice on how to get along with Kimberly. You saw that she isn't very satisfied with me."

The two looked at each other and said in unison, "You've come to the right people."

Seeing how smart and cute the elderly ladies were, Maggie suspected they had said those things about Jenny on purpose.

Maggie took them to lunch and promised to design jewelry for them, making them very happy.

After eating, she took them back.

After dropping them off, Maggie was about to call Holden to ask about the situation when she received a call from Dulce.

As soon as she answered, Dulce angrily said, "Maggie, Oliver cheated on me. He doesn't like young girls in their twenties; he's with a woman in her fifties."

Hearing about Oliver's infidelity didn't surprise Maggie, but the fact that it was with a woman in her fifties was shocking.

Maggie asked, "Where are you?"

"I'm at the Mirage Haven Hotel. I saw them go in. I'm waiting at the entrance. Today, I'm going to confront Oliver. I need your help."

Maggie rubbed her temples and asked, "Do we need to call for backup?"

"Yes, we need to show some force."

Maggie quickly went to the place Dulce mentioned and brought Brian.

Maggie thought about it and decided Brian was the best choice. If there was a physical altercation, Brian could help.

At first, Brian thought they were going to fight and was excited. When he found out it was to catch a cheater, he felt disappointed. He had sunk to the level of helping Maggie catch a cheater.

Seeing Dulce, Maggie asked, "Where are they?"

Dulce pointed to room 809 and said, "They're in there."
