Chapter 687 Baby Swimming
Maggie's heart was already at home, wanting to see her three kids.
With a loving husband and three adorable children, Maggie felt that all the hardships she had endured were worth it.
Fiorello knew Maggie was in a hurry, so he called William and Holden, who were waiting downstairs, to come up and get the stuff.
As the two were leaving, Fiorello received a call from Dylan.
Knowing that Maggie was coming home today, Dylan specifically called to remind Fiorello of some important things.
Dylan said over the phone, "One thing to remember, don't rush into having sex too soon. Hold off a bit; you've waited this long, a little longer won't hurt."
Fiorello replied with a stern face, "Do you want a razor blade?"
Dylan laughed, "Your threats don't work on me. If you don't care for your wife, who will? I'm going on a trip, so I won't make it to the baby's welcome party. The gift is on your desk."
"Got it," Fiorello responded.
Dylan said, "Fiorello, get the gift yourself. I have to go now, boarding the plane."
"Safe travels," Fiorello replied.
After hanging up, Fiorello went downstairs and got in the car with Maggie to head home.
The welcome party for the baby was scheduled for next Monday. Today was Friday, so there were still a few days left.
Maggie was eager to get home. The drive, which took only a few dozen minutes, felt slow to her. She wished the car had wings to fly back.
As soon as the car pulled into the South Hill villa and stopped in the yard, Maggie quickly opened the door and walked briskly inside.
Knowing Maggie was coming home today, Adalia was the first to run out to greet her.
Seeing her eldest daughter, Maggie felt especially happy. "Adalia, you look so beautiful today. No wonder you're my daughter, getting prettier by the day."
Adalia was delighted by the compliment. At seven years old, she was already quite tall and growing into a beautiful young lady.
Arya also came out smiling, "Maggie, Fiorello, you're back."
Fiorello smiled and said, "Mom, where's my mom? And the baby? Are they still sleeping?"
"They're upstairs. Katie and Nate are taking a bath, swimming."
Swimming helps kids build resistance.
Hearing that the babies were swimming, Maggie was particularly excited. She said, "I'm going upstairs to see them. Adalia, come with Mommy."
Adalia was a bit reluctant, but she didn't show it in front of her mom and followed her upstairs.
Arya, worried that there might be a conflict, also went upstairs to keep an eye on things.
Holden excitedly said, "I want to see them too."
The house had a large bathtub specifically for the babies to swim in. The room temperature and water temperature were just right.
Katie and Nate were swimming with floaties. Nate, being a bit lazy, had fallen asleep on his floatie and was just drifting in the water.
Katie was happily kicking her little legs, swimming around. Eleanor was standing nearby, taking photos to post on Instagram.
Everyone knew that Eleanor had a granddaughter and grandson now. She was so happy that she couldn't stop smiling, and her social media was filled with pictures of the babies.
Seeing Fiorello and Maggie, Eleanor smiled and said, "Fiorello, look at how well Katie is swimming. Nate is a bit lazy, just like Holden was at that age."
Holden looked at the two little babies and exclaimed, "They're so cute! Human babies are so small and adorable, just too cute."
Maggie's heart was filled with joy. She gently poked Nate and said, "Swim, don't be lazy. You're the big brother, you know."
Seeing Maggie poke Nate, Eleanor instinctively reminded her, "Maggie, a baby's skin is delicate. You shouldn't poke like that; it can easily scratch their skin."
Hearing this tone, Arya felt uncomfortable.
