Chapter 311 Have Two People Caught

Hearing Maggie's voice on the phone, Fiorello, who had just stepped out of the company, felt a pang of longing.

It took two hours to get to London, and it was only eleven at night. It was still quite early.

After hanging up, Fiorello instructed William beside him, "Book a ticket to London immediately. No, let's take the private jet. It's faster. William, go get this done now."

William laughed and said, "Mr. Flores, Mrs. Flores has only been gone for half a day."

Fiorello retorted, "Only half a day?"

Why did he feel like it was so long?

He was used to sleeping with Maggie in his arms every night. At the thought of sleeping alone tonight, he felt even more eager to leave for London without delay.

William quickly said, "I'll go make the preparations. I'll cancel your appointment with Mr. McDonald for tomorrow. By the way, Ms. Bary from London invited you to a visit in London yesterday. Do you want to meet her this time?"

"Which Ms. Bary?" He had too many connections in his circle. Fiorello couldn't remember all of them.

William replied, "The chairperson of BrightWave Technologies Inc., Celeste Bary. Ms. Bary has invited you to London three times already."

Fiorello finally recalled who she was. Celeste was a rare talent in the business world, having worked her way up from sales to her current position. Her life was legendary, and everyone in the industry admired her.

Fiorello said, "I'll call Ms. Bary myself later. You go handle the other things."

"Yes, Mr. Flores."

In London.

Maggie was getting ready for bed but was still worried about Holden next door.

Holden was now staying in the room Mark had prepared for her. They had switched rooms.

Maggie changed her clothes and knocked on the door next door.

Holden, wearing a robe and ready for bed, saw Maggie standing at the door and asked, "Maggie, it's so late. What's up?"

"Let's talk inside," Maggie said as she entered the room.

Holden quickly said, "Maggie, it's so late. If we stay together, I'm afraid Fiorello will beat me up."

"What are you thinking?" Maggie glanced at him sidelong and asked, "Anything unusual? I'm worried Ashley and the others might make a move tonight."

"Nothing unusual. I've locked the door, and there are no surveillance cameras in the room," Holden said, "Maggie, you're too sensitive. I know Taekwondo. I'll be fine."

"Good, then. I'll go back to my room. Call me if anything happens," Maggie said before returning to her room.

Holden didn't take Maggie's words to heart and lay back down to rest.

In the middle of the night.

Holden was asleep when two figures opened the door with a spare room card and silently entered the room.

Due to the dim lighting, they could only vaguely see someone lying on the bed but couldn't make out the face.

The two exchanged glances. One person covered Holden's mouth while the other held down his feet.

Holden woke up immediately. Fortunately, he knew Taekwondo and could fight. Reflexively, he grabbed the person covering his mouth and threw him onto the bed.

The person holding Holden's feet didn't expect resistance and was momentarily stunned. Holden took the opportunity to kick him away.

"Maggie was right. Come on, let's have some fun," Holden said excitedly. He hadn't fought in a long time.

The two intruders were dumbfounded. They had expected a woman but found a man instead.

Did they enter the wrong room?

Sensing danger, the two tried to flee.

The door was closed, and Holden wouldn't let them escape.

Holden grabbed the collars of both intruders and yanked them back, starting to pummel them.

Holden had been trained by Fiorello since childhood. Surely, he was very skilled.

Soon, Holden had the two subdued. Unable to find anything to tie them up, he used a bedsheet to wrap them together, leaving only their heads exposed.

After securing them, Holden turned on the light and called Maggie to come over. "Maggie, I really caught two people. Come quickly."
