Chapter 635 Almost Discovered

Brian was shocked to see Jenny, and Jenny was equally stunned to see the child in Gregory's arms.

The child looked about four or five months old, just like her own son should be.

She had never known where Ivan had taken the child, and now seeing the child in Gregory's arms, her mind went numb, unable to think.

Jenny's eyes were fixed on the child as she asked, "Whose child is this?"

Gregory deliberately said, "Isn't my illegitimate child adorable?"

Gregory and Jenny had never officially gotten a marriage certificate, and even their wedding banquet was halted halfway through. So, the son Jenny gave birth to was indeed an illegitimate child.

Hearing that the child was really Gregory's, Jenny immediately understood that this was her own son.

She had never seen her child after giving birth, and now he was chubby and particularly cute. The little bit of resentment she had for the child was replaced by a spark of maternal love and conscience.

"Adorable." Jenny couldn't take her eyes off the child and asked, "Can I hold him?"

She had never held her son.

Gregory took in Jenny's reaction, a meaningful smile playing on his lips. "You don't deserve to."

Jenny was very angry, but she didn't dare to show it.

The child was very well-behaved in Gregory's arms, occasionally letting out a laugh, his chubby appearance particularly endearing.

Jenny's heart itched as she longed to hold him. "What's the child's name?"

Gregory pinched Sharon's cheek and said, "His name is Sharon, given by his grandfather. Although the child's mother is not a good person, the child turned out quite well. Sharon inherited my genes and looks like me. If he looked like his mother, I might have thrown him away."

These words were all deliberately said by Gregory for Jenny to hear.

Jenny clenched her fists secretly, but on the surface, she had to endure it. "If you hate the child's mother so much, why did you let her give birth?"

Gregory looked at Jenny, cold and heartless. "I didn't let her give birth; she insisted on it. My biggest regret in life is that the child came out of that woman's womb."

The tone was full of disdain.

Stimulated, Jenny recalled all the humiliations she had suffered before, her hatred deepening. Seeing the knife and fork on the table, she wished she could kill Gregory right then and there.

Gregory enjoyed teasing Jenny like this; it was both stimulating and amusing.

"Miss Jones, eat up, or it'll get cold. I said the child's mother was despicable, but I didn't mean you. Don't take it personally." Gregory deliberately provoked Jenny again, then placed the child in a nearby stroller, giving him a toy to play with.

At this moment, a waiter pushed a cart over, bringing a serving of Butternut Squash Soup.

As the waiter served the dish, his hand slipped, spilling the soup. Jenny instinctively moved to shield the child from the hot soup.

The bowl fell to the ground and shattered.

The waiter turned pale with fright and quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

When Jenny moved to shield the child, Gregory also instinctively protected the child. Both of them ended up in a scene where Jenny was shielding the child, and Gregory was shielding Jenny, resulting in the soup spilling on Gregory and dirtying his suit.

Jenny didn't feel burned. She turned around to see Gregory protecting her, half-embracing her. At that moment, her feelings became complicated, and Gregory seemed less hateful.

But this feeling was fleeting and quickly disappeared. It couldn't erase Gregory's cruelty towards her, and Gregory was never Fiorello; she would never love Gregory.

Seeing his suit dirty, Gregory frowned in annoyance and yelled at the waiter, "Get out, and don't let me see you in Cyberland again."

Gregory took off his jacket, and his pants were also stained. Unable to tolerate it, he went to the restroom to clean up.

Seeing Gregory leave, the waiter quickly cleaned up the broken pieces and left.

Taking advantage of Gregory's absence, Jenny couldn't hold back any longer. She reached out and held Sharon in her arms, kissed him, and softly said, "Sharon, I'm Mommy. Say Mommy."

Even the most hateful and selfish person would show a soft side in front of their own child.

Brian, at the bar, captured this moment and sent the photo to Fiorello.

Fiorello had gone to the restroom, leaving his phone on the table. Maggie saw the phone light up with a message from Brian and picked it up.
