Chapter 301 Kindred Spirits

Arya had fainted before, and now, so hearing that she had fainted and fallen ill again, Maggie felt very distressed.

Maggie asked urgently, "How is my mom now?"

"She hasn't woken up yet and keeps calling your name, Maggie. You need to come to London quickly." Mark's voice was also very anxious on the phone.

Without hesitation, Maggie replied, "Take good care of my mom. I'll be in London this afternoon."

After hanging up, Fiorello said, "I'll go to London with you."

Maggie shook her head. "You're a big company boss; don't follow me around. My mom might not really be sick. I'll go check out the situation first."

Calming down, Maggie began to doubt Mark's words.

Fiorello indeed couldn't leave; the cooperation with the Hars Group needed to be finalized. Previously, he had warned the Holmes Group, and now the differences between the two companies had brought some troubles.

"Alright then, I'll have Holden go to London with you. With him there, I'll feel more at ease," Fiorello said.

Maggie found this plan feasible. "Alright, I'll leave directly from here and won't go back. You call Auntie—no, Mom—and ask her to help take care of Adalia."

Fiorello had confessed, so she had to call Eleanor Mom.

After giving instructions, Maggie set off for London with Holden.

During the two-hour flight, Holden was very attentive. This was a rare opportunity; if he could get along well with Maggie, it would be easy to win over Fiorello.

Holden helped with the luggage onto the plane, and shortly after takeoff, he helped with blankets and drinks. "Maggie, if you need anything, just let me know."

Maggie took a sip of coffee and casually asked, "What did you study before?"

Holden grinned, "Business Administration, Master's degree."

Maggie commented, "It's a pity you didn't go to film school."

Holden quickly said, "Maggie, that was all because Fiorello forced me—no, he coerced and enticed me. I'm an honest person; it was Fiorello who made me do it."

Maggie nearly choked on her coffee. "You really are a family. Was the Flores family originally a fraud group?"

Holden looked surprised. "Maggie, how did you know? Did Fiorello tell you?"

Maggie was dumbfounded. "So it's true."

"I heard it from my grandfather. The first money the Flores family made was swindled by my grandfather's father."

Maggie rolled her eyes. "Couldn't you just say, great-grandfather?"

Holden chuckled. "The family relationships are a bit complicated. Anyway, that's how the Flores family made money. Later, in my father's generation, they transitioned to real estate. By Fiorello's generation, they transitioned to e-commerce. Now, the Visionary Futures Group's business spans various industries: real estate, tourism, dining, entertainment, light industry, and heavy industry."

Holden introduced the Flores family's industries to Maggie one by one.

The more Maggie listened, the more shocked she became. The Flores family's business was even more powerful than she had imagined.

This billion-dollar market value was probably just a part of the estimate.

Maggie clicked her tongue. "I must be a good person; otherwise, I wouldn't be so lucky."

Holden laughed, leaning his hands on the small table, saying, "The men of the Flores family are devoted and single-minded. Maggie, you are indeed lucky."

Maggie nodded and deliberately asked with a smile, "So does that mean I don't have to do anything?"

Holden excitedly said, "Maggie, I have the same thought as you, but whether we can do nothing depends on Fiorello."

Maggie confidently said, "Anyway, Fiorello will take care of me."

Holden grinned cheekily, "Maggie, for the sake of our kindred spirits, take care of me too."
