Chapter 476 Pressure on Fiorello

As a single gal, Dulce just couldn't wrap her head around this kind of emotion. Fiorello was all in to protect Maggie, but Maggie, not wanting to put Fiorello in a tough spot, was ready to face it.

Dulce glanced at the downcast Maggie, not sure what to say to change her mind.

She was totally heartbroken.

Visiting hours were up, and Dulce had to head out first.

As she left, Maggie still looked calm, way calmer than she did at the hospital. The sadness on her face wasn't as intense, and the hatred had faded away.

With Kimberly gone, Maggie's hatred vanished too, and she felt a sense of freedom.

Walking out of the police station, Dulce bumped into Isabella.

Isabella asked, "Dulce, how's Maggie holding up?"

"It's hard to say, but for now, she seems okay." Dulce struggled to put it into words, not sure if Maggie's situation was good or bad. Her circumstances were rough, but her heart seemed lighter.

Isabella asked eagerly, "What about the Flores family? What's Fiorello thinking?"

Dulce replied, "Maggie said Fiorello will save her. If he said that, there shouldn't be a problem."

Hearing that Fiorello still planned to save Maggie, Isabella's eyes showed a hint of disappointment. "Will he really save Maggie? She killed his grandmother, won't he go after her for that?"

"That was Mrs. Flores' own doing. She started it, and Maggie just gave it back to her. If Fiorello can't see that, I won't let him off either."

Isabella muttered to herself, "He really loves Maggie."

Even in this mess, he was still willing to save Maggie.

Dulce said, "Consider him a good guy. Isabella, I need to visit the Flores family, to see Fiorello and hear from him directly about how he's gonna handle this. Otherwise, I won't be at ease."

Isabella replied, "Then I'll come with you."Night fell at the Flores Mansion. The Flores family had been waiting all day, but Fiorello hadn't shown up, making some of the elders grumble.

Joseph had asked Brian several times where Fiorello was and what he planned to do, but Brian's response was always, "I don't know."

Joseph told Brian to get rid of all the bodyguards, and Brian, without budging, said, "I can't move without Mr. Fiorello Flores' order."

Joseph was fuming.

Fiorello's phone was unreachable, so all they could do was wait.

Kimberly's brothers also showed up, all looking for some resolution from the Flores family. But what could they do when Kimberly was already dead? The authorities would make the final call; these folks had no say in it.

Everyone there had their own agendas or was being manipulated, including some who had been instigated by Gregory to pressure Fiorello.

Gregory wanted to see how far Fiorello would go for Maggie. It was like a twisted game to him.

The Flores Mansion was lit up, with servants waiting outside. Inside, it was constant bickering, with people blaming Joseph and demanding he control Fiorello better.

"Fiorello is too reckless. Just look at the woman he married. He should never have agreed to marry her in the first place."

"It's a pity Kimberly died so tragically. Joseph, you're her only son. You must avenge her. The murderer must pay with her life." These words came from Kimberly's brother, who was also in his seventies. Over the years, he'd gotten a lot of help from the Flores family.

Today, half the people there were from Kimberly's family. The other half were her husband's siblings. After her husband passed, Kimberly had been kind to them, giving them some inheritance or positions in the company.

But they weren't satisfied. These Flores family siblings all wanted a piece of Visionary Futures, each wanting more than just scraps.

The two groups had gathered today to pressure Fiorello into dealing with Maggie, either seeking compensation from him or forcing him to step down as CEO.

Of course, the younger generation had also come along and would speak up when needed.

The room was in chaos, with several elderly figures expressing their anger. Joseph, being younger, could only listen and obey.

Eleanor listened to these people talking about her son, feeling uncomfortable but not wanting to stir up more anger, so she stayed quiet.

At that moment, footsteps were heard outside, followed by a mocking voice. "Everyone's here today, not a single one missing."

All eyes turned to see Fiorello, with a cold, handsome expression, walking in, accompanied by a group of people from outside.
