Chapter 324 Dine Together

Mark and Ashley were in the midst of a divorce, and neither of them had the time to care for Melissa in the hospital.

They were even unaware that Timothy had donated bone marrow to Melissa.

Timothy couldn't bear to let Melissa die. They were only a year apart and had grown up together, sharing a deep sibling bond.

The Jackson family was in utter chaos, and Maggie at the hotel naturally saw the trending news.

Mark's actions had taken her by surprise as well.

"Do you think Mark has gone mad?" Maggie glanced at Fiorello in front of her.

After returning to the hotel, they planned to head back to Cyberland in the evening.

Fiorello glanced at the trending news, tapping his index finger lightly on the table, and said grimly, "Where there's smoke, there's fire."

"Mark's business with the White family is deeply intertwined. If they fall out, the losses will be significant. Mark must be aware of this, yet he still chose to divorce." Maggie couldn't figure it out. She didn't believe that Mark had truly realized his mistake.

"Businessmen always seek profit," Fiorello analyzed gently, "Mark chose to abandon the White family and align with Arya, which means he sees great potential benefits in her."

Maggie responded casually, "My mom has no money or background, and she can't help with the Jackson family business. I have nothing either, except for you."

Maggie suddenly realized and looked at Fiorello in astonishment. "Could it be that Mark knows you're the president of Visionary Futures Group?"

Neither she nor Arya had any value. The greatest value was Fiorello.

Maggie felt a headache at once. "I told my mom, but did she let it slip? No, that can't be right. She hasn't had time to contact Mark since she came back. So how does he know it?"

Maggie muttered to herself, her gaze suddenly fixed on Fiorello.

Fiorello said, "I haven't seen Mark today either."

Indeed, Fiorello hadn't noticed Mark at the club entrance.

"Forget it. It's not important now. I think we should hurry back to Cyberland. If we delay any longer, Mark will definitely come to the hotel to block us. I'm afraid my mom will soften her heart again."

Maggie was shocked by the trending news, let alone Arya.

Arya didn't use her phone much and probably didn't know about the online news yet. They needed to leave quickly while they still could.

Mark wanted to get a divorce and marry Arya. Such boldness was unbearable for any woman.

Fiorello smiled faintly and said, "Didn't you say that you wanted a third of the Jackson family's assets? Now that Mark has designated you as the heiress, don't you want it?"

Maggie quickly shook her head and replied, "I don't dare to take it. I'm afraid it's a trap. Who knows what's inside the trap? Given Mark's character, I don't trust him. He abandoned my mom to marry Ashley back then, and now he wants to marry my mom and abandon Ashley. Mark is a selfish person who always considers his own interests."

Fiorello reached out and pulled Maggie onto his lap with a gentle tug.

Faced with the Jackson family's billions of dollars in assets, Maggie was not tempted at all. Instead, she saw it as a trouble. That was what Fiorello admired her about a lot.

Fiorello's thumb gently caressed the back of her hand, and he whispered in her ear, "Darling, how about I teach you how to do business?"

The warm breath on her ear and neck made Maggie feel weak.

"Speak properly. Don't seduce me," Maggie said, touching her ear in annoyance. "If you're willing to teach, I'm certainly willing to learn."

She also wanted to be his equal.

He said, "I'll teach you everything I know."

"It's about time. I'll go check if my mom is ready. I want to go back and see Adalia." Maggie was now eager to return.

Fiorello smiled and said, "Alright, I'll let you go for now. I'll deal with you when we get back."

Maggie glanced at Fiorello's lower body and snorted, "One day, I'll make you fear me."

Fiorello laughed and replied, "You're always welcome, darling."

Maggie had foresight. They had just left the hotel when Mark arrived.

They narrowly missed each other.

Mark called Arya, but she had already blocked him.

Having decided to leave London, Arya naturally severed ties with Mark.

Mark was anxious. He had just offended the White family, and now Arya and Maggie were gone, leaving him with nothing.

However, Mark was not one to give up easily. Since he had chosen to abandon the White family, he was determined to win back Arya.

The Visionary Futures Group anniversary celebration was a perfect opportunity. Mark had already made up his mind to go to Cyberland and win Arya back.

In Cyberland.

Fiorello brought Maggie and Arya back to the Flores Manor.

Eleanor had already received the news and was preparing dinner with the housekeeper. Adalia was in the living room playing with building blocks with Joseph.

The Flores Manor was spacious, and Joseph liked Adalia very much. He had even created a children's playground for her in the house, which was under construction in the backyard.

Adalia was sweet, calling Joseph "Grandpa". That delighted him and made him eager to fulfill all her requests.

With Adalia around, the house was livelier and filled with laughter.

As people age, they longed for the company of their children and grandchildren, enjoying the simple pleasures of family life.

Eleanor came over with a plate of sliced fruit. "Adalia, come have some fruit."

Adalia sweetly replied, "Okay, Grandma."

Now that Maggie knew, Eleanor had Adalia call her grandma directly.

Eleanor had been taking care of Adalia recently, and the more time they spent together, the deeper their bond grew.

Adalia took two pieces of durian and specifically gave one to Joseph. "Grandpa, eat."

Joseph was overjoyed. "OK, OK, good girl. Adalia, eat more. I don't eat."

Adalia obediently ate her fruit and continued playing with the building blocks.

Seeing how close Adalia was to Joseph, Eleanor smiled and said, "The house is livelier with a child around. Have you noticed that this child really looks like a Flores?"

Adalia was growing more beautiful, a stark contrast to her previously pale and thin appearance. Now, she looked like a lovely little princess.

Joseph looked lovingly at Adalia playing with the building blocks and smiled. "I also feel a special bond with this child. When she calls me Grandpa, my heart melts."

"Indeed, if Fiorello could have children, he and Maggie would probably have a child by now," Eleanor said with a hint of regret, longing to have a grandchild.

Joseph sighed at the thought, "We'll find a doctor to treat Fiorello. He's so young. He can surely be cured."

"Alright," Eleanor said, "I'll consult a doctor later."

Just then, Holden's voice came from outside. "Dad, Mom, we're back."

Hearing that Holden and the others had returned, Eleanor happily walked out.

Holding Maggie's hand, Fiorello walked in front. Seeing Eleanor, Maggie smiled and called out, "Mom."

That one word almost brought Eleanor to tears. She quickly responded, "I've been looking forward to this day for so long. Come in. Arya, come in too."

Eleanor was very hospitable. It was Arya's first time at the Flores's home, and she felt a bit uneasy, but Eleanor warmly welcomed her.

It was Arya's first time seeing such a luxurious mansion. Although she had heard from Maggie that Fiorello's family was wealthy, she hadn't imagined just how wealthy.

The opulence of the mansion was overwhelming for her.

Hearing the voices, Adalia happily ran out. "Daddy, Mommy."

Having not seen them for several days, Adalia missed her parents.

Seeing Adalia running towards her, Maggie happily picked her up. "Adalia, it feels like you've grown taller in just a few days."

Joseph also came over and was pleased to see everyone back. "You all must be hungry. Come in and eat."

It hadn't been so lively in the Flores's home for a long time.
