Chapter 425 Ruined the Good Thing
Jenny grabbed the room key, barely able to hide her excitement.
She spritzed on more perfume, threw on her coat, and headed out.
The plan with Kimberly was simple: Jenny would get into the room, do the deed, and Kimberly would "accidentally" walk in, catching them red-handed. Fiorello would have no choice but to admit it, and Kimberly could then push him to divorce Maggie.
Jenny was already dreaming of marrying Fiorello and felt ecstatic.
When she got to room 1122, the door was slightly open.
The lights were off. She slipped inside and quickly shut the door, not daring to turn on the lights in case Fiorello saw her face and things got complicated.
By the dim light from outside, Jenny saw someone on the bed. She crept closer. "Fiorello?"
Before she could see clearly, she was pulled into an embrace. "You smell good."
The deep voice and sudden hug made Jenny's heart race. She didn't even try to recognize the voice, just thinking it sounded familiar.
Since Kimberly set this up, Jenny had no doubts. She was sure it was Fiorello. Overwhelmed with happiness, she couldn't think straight.
"Fiorello." Jenny wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
Her graceful figure and the aphrodisiac perfume made the man lose control. Like a wild wolf, he passionately took her.
Jenny had never felt this happy. She cried out, "Fiorello, I love you. I'm your woman now. I'm so happy."
Meanwhile, in the next room, a slightly sobered Fiorello looked at Maggie and asked, "Why are you here?"
"If I hadn't come, you'd be with Jenny right now," Maggie snapped. "Men need to protect themselves, Fiorello. This is the second time I'm warning you. No more drinking, not a drop."
Fiorello had almost been set up on a business trip to Sunshine Bay City before. Now, Kimberly tried again.
Fiorello sensed something was off. Holding Maggie's hand, he gently asked, "Honey, what's going on? How could I be with Jenny?"
"Are you sober now? If so, wait and see. I bet Kimberly is downstairs right now," Maggie said, confusing Fiorello even more.
Fiorello quickly pieced it together, his brows furrowing. "Did Grandma set this up?"
Maggie sneered. "What do you think? If I hadn't come, would you have fallen into the trap and betrayed me?"
After socializing, Fiorello was helped back to room 1122 by William to rest.
Maggie, waiting, immediately took Fiorello to the next room, 1123, to sober up.
Fiorello couldn't believe Kimberly's foolishness. Holding Maggie's hand, he swore, "Honey, I promised you're the only woman in my life. I'll never touch alcohol again. I'll confront Grandma later."
If Kimberly kept this up, Fiorello wouldn't dare bring Maggie back to the Flores Mansion.
Just as Maggie predicted, Kimberly was waiting downstairs. After about forty to fifty minutes, thinking it was time, she went upstairs.
Kimberly was thrilled, thinking she was about to secure her great-grandchild.
She asked the hotel staff to open the door and went in alone, leaving the driver outside.
Kimberly turned on the light, beaming. "Fiorello, why did you drink so much? I'm here to take you home."
But when she saw the man on the bed, she was stunned. "Why is it you?"
