Chapter 274 Warning

As it turned out, Fiorello was the one playing tricks.

He slept in bed all night and never moved to the couch.

Men’s promises couldn’t be trusted. Maggie was exhausted from his antics and fell asleep quickly, waking up the next day.

Fiorello was on the balcony outside the room, taking a call.

The call was from Holden. Knowing that Maggie had accompanied Fiorello on his business trip to Sunshine Bay City, Holden was quite envious.

"Having someone with you on a trip sounds great," Holden remarked enviously.

Faced with Holden's chatter, Fiorello simply said, "If you're jealous, hurry up and find a woman to marry. The Flores family is still waiting for you to have kids."

Holden wailed over the phone, "Fiorello, I finally understand my value in this family."

The value of having kids.

Fiorello said, "I'm still waiting for you to have a few more. When the time comes, Maggie and I will adopt one to help you out."

"Fiorello, I haven’t even found a woman yet, and you’re already eyeing my future kids. By the way, if you get that new Porsche supercar, I’ll have two kids a year for the Flores family. I heard you ordered it."

"Well, you can forget about it. That car is for Maggie."

"Fiorello, I’m your brother," Holden pleaded, trying to use their relationship to his advantage.

Fiorello noticed that Maggie was already awake, standing outside on the balcony, looking at her through the sliding glass door. He said into the phone, "Have kids sooner, and I might consider getting you another car. Also, don't forget what I told you. Maggie is awake, so I have to go."

"Got it."

Maggie was the most important.

Fiorello hung up. Maggie, wearing Fiorello's shirt, walked out of the room.

A white shirt just barely covered her hips, and as she walked, her long, slender legs were particularly enticing.

He raised an eyebrow. "Honey, You're tempting me early in the morning."

Maggie blushed and glared at him. "What are you thinking about every day?"

"Only you," he said, pulling her into his arms and pressing her against the glass door. He gave her a romantic kiss before letting her go. "We're heading back to Cyberland this afternoon."

"Good," Maggie agreed, eager to return home, even though their time together was wonderful. She was worried about Arya and Adalia.

She leaned casually against the door frame, running her fingers through her hair, exuding an air of allure.

"Have you dealt with those women?"

This matter still needed to be clarified.

That issue hadn’t been fully resolved. Maggie had brought it up to get Fiorello’s response and action.

"It's been dealt with," Fiorello didn't dare to hide anything. "It was Jenny who bribed the women arranged by the client to come and tattle on you. Honey, someone is trying to drive a wedge between us. Luckily, you're magnanimous and didn't fall for it."

"Stop sweet-talking me." Maggie had already guessed it was Jenny and wasn't surprised. She asked, "What's really going on between you and Jenny? I don't believe she's just a date. If the date failed, she wouldn't keep clinging to you."

"There's really nothing between us," Fiorello swore. "Honey, believe me, I don't lie to you."

Even God wouldn't believe that.

Fiorello himself felt a bit guilty. He still had something he was hiding from Maggie.

Maggie scrutinized Fiorello closely but couldn't tell if he was lying. She said, "If it happens again, you'll be sleeping on the couch for a month. Also, when you're out, make sure to protect yourself. Otherwise, whether it's you making the move or being passive, if another woman ends up in your bed, I will never forgive you."
