Chapter 452 Atoning with Death

At the Flores Mansion, Kimberly was chillin' at home, whispering thanks to the God for helping her get rid of the kid.

Kimberly grinned and muttered, "Ancestors of the Flores family, now that Maggie's kid is gone, I can finally face you without any guilt."

Just then, it was like a thunderstorm hit outside, and a gust of wind blew through, snuffing out all the candles around.

Kimberly jumped. As she stood there, kinda stunned, she turned her head and saw Fiorello walking in.

Kimberly shakily got up with her cane and turned to look at the entrance.

Fiorello, looking like he just walked outta hell, took long strides forward, oozing murderous vibes with every step.

It was the first time Kimberly had seen Fiorello looking so deadly, his whole vibe so hostile that the air felt like it was freezing. Under the intense pressure, Kimberly couldn't move.

Kimberly had a hunch why Fiorello was there. She gripped her cane tight and steadied herself. She was Fiorello's real grandma and didn't think he'd hurt her over someone else's kid.

As Fiorello got closer, Kimberly saw the gun in his hand and finally felt a flicker of fear.

Kimberly forced herself to stay strong and said, "Fiorello, what's with the gun? You really gonna kill your grandma over someone else's kid?"

Fiorello placed the gun on the table with a click, his gaze icy as he asked, word by word, "Was it you who had someone abort Maggie's kid? Ariel told me, but I wanna hear it from you. How did my son die?"

Fiorello's expression was ice-cold, making Kimberly's heart tremble. She pretended to be calm and said, "Yeah, I had someone give Maggie an abortion drug. That kid is dead, right? Fiorello, I told you, that was someone else's kid. If you don't believe me, do a paternity test on the kid's body. Let's see how Maggie can deny it then."

Kimberly's ignorance cut Fiorello deep. Looking at Kimberly's face, Fiorello couldn't understand where his once-kind grandma had gone.

Kimberly tugged at Fiorello's arm, still talking, "Fiorello, trust me. Did you do the paternity test?"

Fiorello suddenly laughed, a crazy laugh. "The killer of my son is actually my own grandma. How ironic."

Fiorello's laugh scared Kimberly, and she didn't dare say another word.

Fiorello abruptly stopped laughing, his gaze icy as he pointed to the gun on the table and said, "Grandma, do it yourself. Don't make me do it."

These words shocked Kimberly. She pounded her cane on the floor in agitation. "Fiorello, I'm your grandma. How could you do this to me?"

Fiorello roared, "And that was my own son, a five-month-old fetus. He was just forming, his features looked like mine. He didn't even get a chance to see this world before you killed him. You've always wanted to hold a great-grandson, so why'd you harm him? If you weren't my grandma, you'd already be a corpse. Do you know what happened to Ariel? I had Brian throw her into the sea to feed the fish. But you are my grandma, so I gotta give you a dignified end."

These words left Kimberly stunned. She didn't think she was wrong; she was just heartbroken that Fiorello didn't trust her and wanted to kill her.

Fiorello picked up the gun from the table, loaded it, and handed it to Kimberly with a blank expression. "Grandma, you should die to atone for your sins. You are my grandma, so I can't do it myself. This is the best solution. I need to give my son and my wife an explanation."
