Chapter 531 The Eerie Wedding
As soon as Gregory spoke, the entire room fell silent, followed by hushed whispers.
Hundreds of guests stood below, whispering among themselves. The groom arrived so late and in such a drunken state; who couldn't see that he was unhappy with the wedding?
Joseph was so angry that his chest hurt. Who introduced themselves like that? Announcing in public that he was an illegitimate child was clearly meant to embarrass Joseph.
Over the years, Gregory had never done anything to make Joseph happy, always opposing him.

Kevin's face changed dramatically upon hearing this. "Why don't you say so earlier?"
"I called you, but you didn't answer," Jenny said anxiously.
At this moment, the officiant on stage announced, "Now the groom may now proceed to greet his bride."
Gregory, held up by the bodyguards, had fallen asleep at this crucial moment.
Seeing this, Joseph suppressed his anger and signaled the bodyguards to carry Gregory to meet Jenny.
So, the next scene unfolded. Two bodyguards dragged the sleeping Gregory towards Jenny, with Gregory snoring loudly. Jenny and Kevin were in a predicament, their faces flushed with embarrassment.
This wedding was definitely the most unique.
Maggie sat in a corner, watching the farce, wondering why Fiorello hadn't arrived yet.
Jenny was both angry and scared. Kevin gently patted her hand and said, "Stay calm. Maybe the note is just a prank. No matter what, finish the wedding first. Remember, the humiliation the Flores family gives us today will be repaid tenfold in the future."
For the Holmes family, this wedding was not a celebration but a humiliation.
Gregory was dragged in front of Jenny, and the officiant continued the ceremony with a heavy heart.
A drunk Gregory naturally couldn't kneel and propose to Jenny, so that part was skipped. Gregory was supported by the bodyguards, while Jenny, holding her bouquet, walked alone.
She had no hand to hold, no blessings from friends and family. Jenny, heavily pregnant, walked by herself, recalling Kevin's words. She turned her fear and anger into hatred, becoming calm.
All the humiliation she suffered today, she vowed to repay the Flores family.
The officiant said, "Groom, do you take this beautiful bride beside you as your wife, to love, honor, and cherish her for life?"
The officiant held the microphone to Gregory's bowed head. The snoring echoed through the entire banquet hall, making the atmosphere extremely awkward.
"It seems our groom is too excited to speak. Let me ask the bride then. Do you take..."
The officiant was really in a tough spot, and even Joseph looked nervous.
