Chapter 562 Don't Set the Conditions Too Strict

Maggie felt a bit scared and asked, "Why did the daughter kill her whole family? What kind of deep hatred would make her do something so ruthless?"

Dulce patted the sofa and said, "Maggie, sit down, and I'll tell you slowly. The daughter wasn't their biological child; she was adopted. She got married five years ago. Her in-laws used to be very poor, but suddenly, their house was demolished, and they received three million dollars and three houses. Her birth family kept asking her for money and causing trouble. Later, her husband died in a car accident, and her birth family went to fight for the money, which angered her in-laws to death."

Her birth family ruined the daughter's good life.

The daughter was pregnant with a posthumous child, and her birth family, worried that the child would claim a share of the money, forcibly fed her abortion pills and terminated the pregnancy.

The loss of the child was the last straw for the daughter. She went mad and poisoned her birth family's food, then killed them all.

After hearing this, Maggie felt heartbroken and understanding, even though she had never met the person.

Maggie herself had been angry before, hadn't she?

Dulce said, "That family deserved it; they were so greedy. By the way, Maggie, you didn't come to see me, did you? As a new bride, did Fiorello let you come out so late?"

Maggie smiled and said, "I'm here to deliver the invitation. Holly has to be you, and here's a gift."

Dulce opened it excitedly and said, "Maggie, this is too luxurious! The latest phone and a pearl necklace, and it's pink pearls."

"One of a kind, absolutely unique," Maggie laughed. "You deserve it."

Dulce hugged Maggie happily, "Maggie, don't forget me when you're rich."

Maggie laughed, "Come on, do you really need this little bit of money?"

"I do," Dulce said. "I only make so much a year, nowhere near as much as you. By the way, have you decided on your wedding dress?"

"It's already being made," Maggie said. "Fiorello hired the internationally renowned designer, Naomi Bell, to design it."

"Her wedding dresses are every woman's dream. Maggie, Fiorello is so good to you," Dulce said. "I can't wait to attend the wedding."

"And what about you? You've been with Francis every day recently, haven't you done anything?"

"He's too old," Dulce shook her head. "I don't date men over 22. The best age for men is around twenty, no more than three years older. Women don't have an age limit; I have to think about the future."

Maggie teased, "You really dare to say anything. People might think you're very experienced, but in reality, you're just a virgin with no experience."

Dulce shrugged, "I haven't personally experienced certain things, but I still know about them."

"You," Maggie reminded, "should be careful with your words when chatting with the opposite sex outside. Don't say things like today, or people might think you're very experienced and look at you differently. Some things can easily get distorted."

If Dulce appeared to be very playful, others would not take her seriously and would play with her.

Dulce didn't care, "It doesn't matter; these things depend on fate."

"Don't be so strict with the age limit. Many men meet your requirements," Maggie said. "Besides his age, does Francis have any other flaws?"

Dulce thought for a moment, "Well, besides being a bit old, Francis is also a bit stingy. But other than that, he's great. He's meticulous and responsible in his work. Last time, he almost got hit by a falling flowerpot while saving a colleague."

"Then you should go for it. Loosen the age restriction a bit. Francis looks very healthy; he can definitely satisfy you."
