Chapter 235 Celebrating Reunion

Fiorello had everything planned out in advance. Turning the study into a children's room and giving the guest room to Arya worked out perfectly.
Arya was very satisfied with Fiorello's arrangements. "Fiorello, you've worked hard."
Honestly, Arya felt a bit embarrassed because she had kept Maggie's secret from Fiorello from the beginning.
"We are all family." Fiorello smiled warmly, then walked over to Adalia, crouched down, and asked, "Adalia, what's your favorite color?"
Adalia thought for a moment and said in a childish voice, "Pink."
Fiorello smiled, ruffled Adalia's hair, and half an hour later, workers arrived. The study transformed into a dreamy children's room in just one hour.
Following Adalia's request, the room was predominantly pink, with beautiful curtains, carpets, white canopies, and many Barbie dolls and toys that girls love.
Fiorello led Adalia into the room. "Do you like it?"
Adalia was somewhat incredulous. She now had her own room and so many toys.
Susan had never bought her toys. She saw others playing and liked it very much. Once she made a request to Susan and received a harsh response, she dared not ask again.

After going to school, Adalia saw other kids with toys. She was envious.
"Are all these mine?"
Fiorello smiled and said, "They are all yours."
Adalia immediately got excited. "I love them, really, really love them. So happy."

Adalia was still a child, after all, so she happily jumped up, hugged the Barbie doll, and said, "I have Barbie dolls now. I want to dress them up in pretty dresses."

Fiorello and Maggie were also very happy to see Adalia happy.
Fiorello did all these things without Maggie knowing beforehand. He not only prepared gifts for Adalia, but he also bought Arya several sets of new clothes and toiletries changed the comfortable mattress so she could sleep more comfortably.

Fiorello was indeed very considerate.

Maggie was touched deeply. She tiptoed, hooked her hands around his neck, and kissed him.

She was too happy, forgetting that Arya was also there.

"Maggie, that mattress is so comfortable." Arya came out, leaning on a cane, just in time to see the two of them kissing at the door of the children's room.

Arya blushed, but her reaction was quick. She pretended not to see, then lowered her head to look for something. "Where's my phone? Why can't I find it?"

Arya's phone was right on the sofa, and Maggie naturally saw that Arya was doing it on purpose. She felt embarrassed and blushed.

"I'll go cook. Let's celebrate tonight. Let's rejoice as Adalia becomes our daughter and as Arya and Adalia receive their discharge.”

Fiorello held her hand, affectionately saying, "Don't rush, don't tire yourself out. I've arranged everything. In half an hour, the restaurant will deliver the cooked food. I asked Auntie and Holden to come over for dinner, and I also called Dulce."

"You're so thoughtful." Maggie tapped her head and said, "I didn't even think of that. We should have invited Auntie and Holden for dinner a long time ago; they helped us so much. Dulce has helped a lot during my hospital stay; we should have invited her too."

Fiorello teased her. "You weren't smart to begin with.
Maggie gave him a pointed look and said, "I'm going to take a shower. Meanwhile, please keep Adalia company for a bit."

She had spent the night in the hospital and felt uncomfortable. She wanted to take a shower and change into clean clothes, and she couldn't be impolite when guests arrived later.

"Okay." Fiorello tucked her hair behind her ear. "Wear the blue dress I bought you last time. It looks good on you."

It was another season change, and while Maggie was in the hospital, Fiorello had cleared out her wardrobe and bought a new batch of clothes.

At the time, Maggie scolded him for spending money, but she was secretly delighted.

She was truly happy to have a man who always cared for her.
Women are always saying one thing and meaning another.
