Chapter 667 Dulce has blacklisted Francis.
Francis found out that Wendy had talked about what happened that night, and without a word, he ran out to find Dulce.
Wendy opened her mouth to stop him, but before she could say anything, he was already gone.
But this time, Wendy didn't feel too bad. Given what she knew about Dulce and Francis, this incident would prevent them from being together.
Francis was a responsible man with a sense of duty, and he owed Edward his life. Francis would definitely take responsibility.
And Dulce, as a woman, understood that women do not tolerate betrayal.
After leaving the police station, Dulce blocked all of Francis's contact information. She didn't return to the beauty salon either, making it difficult for Francis to find her.
Francis searched for several hours, looking for Dulce at her shop and her home, but he couldn't find her. He had no choice but to call Maggie.
It was already ten o'clock at night.
Maggie saw Francis's call and was puzzled. She answered, "Francis, what's up?"
"Sorry to bother you so late," Francis panted, out of breath from running back and forth. "Maggie, is Dulce with you?"
"No, she came by during the day and then left," Maggie sensed something was wrong and asked, "What happened? Did you and Dulce have a fight?"
"She blocked all my contact information. I've looked everywhere and can't find her. Maggie, please help me get in touch with her. I urgently need to see her," Francis said anxiously.
Maggie thought this was unusual. Dulce wouldn't block Francis for no reason.
Fiorello, who was nearby, heard the conversation but didn't comment.
Maggie told Francis, "I'll try to contact her. Don't worry."
Maggie hung up the phone and started looking for Dulce's number. She said, "What's going on with Francis? Dulce came by during the day saying she couldn't reach Francis, and now Francis can't reach Dulce. They just started dating and it's already this dramatic."
Despite her words, Maggie knew something serious might have happened.
Fiorello said, "You should call her and find out."
Maggie dialed Dulce's number. The phone rang for a long time before it was answered.
"Dulce, where are you? What happened between you and Francis? He called me saying he can't reach you."
There was no immediate response from Dulce, just the sound of her sobbing.
"Maggie, don't worry, I'm fine. If Francis calls you again, don't answer. When I needed to find him, I couldn't. Now that he wants to find me, it's not going to be that easy," Dulce said angrily. "Tell him to go find Wendy instead of looking for me."
Hearing Wendy's name, Maggie knew things were really complicated.
Dulce had told Maggie about Wendy and Francis's relationship before.
Now that Dulce was upset and emotional, Maggie didn't press further. "Dulce, just tell me where you are. Have you been drinking? It's very noisy there; are you at a bar?"
A woman drinking alone at a bar could be very dangerous.
Dulce, afraid Maggie would betray her, didn't say where she was. She just said, "Maggie, get some rest. Don't worry about me. I'll come find you tomorrow."
With that, Dulce hung up the phone.
Maggie couldn't sleep at all. If something happened, she would regret it forever.
Maggie quickly thought of the bar Dulce usually liked to go to and said, "Fiorello, drive me to Charming Bar. I need to find Dulce, or something bad will happen."
Fiorello suggested, "Why don't you let Francis go? It's best for the people involved to resolve their own issues. It also gives them a chance to work things out."
That made sense. Maggie didn't know the full story but could guess some of it.
"Then I'll call Francis," Maggie said. "Dulce's love life is always rocky. I thought she and Francis would be a good match, but they're already having such a big fight. It's surprising."
