Chapter 190 Difficulty Conceiving

The parent-child activity started quickly.
In the first half, it was all about the children's performances. The kindergarten teachers wanted the children to show their best side to the parents.
After spending so much money to send them to school, they had to show something to their parents.
During the parent-child interactive session, there was a small game to enhance the tacit understanding between children and parents and strengthen their bond.
Parent-child interaction required parents to work a little harder. They had to use a small sheet to lift the children up, and the children had to use both hands to grab toys. The one who grabbed more would win.
Fiorello participated in such an activity for the first time. Being in a high position, he usually gave orders and delegated tasks to his subordinates.
At the kindergarten, for Adalia's sake, Fiorello had to follow the teacher's arrangements and cooperate to complete the parent-child interactive game.
After the whole game, Adalia was very happy. Her laughter was infectious, and Fiorello couldn't help but smile, too.
After receiving the prize, Adalia happily gave it to Fiorello, saying, "Uncle Fiorello, this is my prize for you. Take it back to Mrs. Flores. She will be happy too. Maybe Mrs. Flores will wake up."
"Okay."
Fiorello smiled and pinched Adalia's cheek. Adalia had gained some weight from eating well at school; her skin was more radiant and smooth, her eyes brighter, and she looked even more beautiful.
Fiorello asked, "Are you happy today?"
"Very happy, but..." Adalia still had some regrets. "It would be even better if Mrs. Flores were here."
Fiorello promised, "When Maggie wakes up, we'll accompany you together for the next activity."
"Okay," Adalia nodded happily. "You must keep your promise."
"Okay," Fiorello smiled and said, "I have to go to the hospital."
"Okay, goodbye, Uncle Fiorello."
Adalia waved politely to bid farewell.
William waited in the car at the kindergarten gate. Fiorello got into the car with the prize Adalia gave him, a pink Barbie doll.
Fiorello commanded, "Back to the hospital."
Maggie had been in a coma for almost a month, and Fiorello hadn't been to the company for a month either
If the company could not function without him, then the thousands of employees in his company would be unnecessary.
He didn't care much about the company's affairs. Perhaps it was because Maggie had been in a coma for too long, or maybe it was because Adalia was with him. Fiorello's mood had calmed down a lot, and he was no longer as impatient as before.
Fiorello firmly believed that Maggie would wake up. He was prepared for everything and was waiting for Maggie to wake up.
At the hospital, Fiorello coincidentally met the doctor explaining Maggie's condition to Eleanor in the ward.
Just as the doctor was saying, "The patient suffered a severe injury to her waist in the accident, and she had a history of..."
"Doctor Taylor."
Fiorello hurriedly interrupted Doctor Taylor, his face showing no abnormal expression, and said, "If there's something, tell me. Let's talk in the office. Mom, you stay here and look after Maggie."
Fiorello wanted to keep Eleanor in the dark about Maggie's childbirth.
Eleanor, with little hesitation, said, "Okay, I'll stay here and take care of things."
Fiorello, as Maggie's husband, cared for and was aware of Maggie's condition, which was normal.
Fiorello and Doctor Taylor went to the office.
Fiorello said, "Doctor Taylor, what's the matter? Tell me."
Doctor Taylor said, "Mr. Flores, your wife suffered a severe injury to her waist in the accident, coupled with a history of childbirth, there are sequelae. If she couldn't fully recovered, it may be difficult for her to conceive in the future."
As a doctor, of course, he knew that Maggie had given birth before.
The doctor's words were still euphemistic. The real situation was that it was almost impossible to conceive.
In fact, with Maggie still in a coma, these issues about future childbirth might be redundant. Still, as a doctor, potential complications for the patient had to be communicated to the family.
The doctor's words dealt another blow to Fiorello.
Fiorello's voice was low as he said, "My wife and I can't have our own child."
