Chapter 329 Encounter a Fraud
Oliver was aggressive, and Dulce felt a bit scared.
Dulce pushed Oliver away forcefully and said angrily, "Oliver, we agreed on this. No marriage, no sex."
Oliver looked at Dulce helplessly. "Honey, it's the 21st century. No one cares about marriage anymore. Don't you love me?"
Dulce was at a loss for words. Oliver always used this line to corner her.
Oliver wore a pitiful expression as if she had bullied him.
Dulce thought of Maggie's words and asked, "Oliver, we will get married, right?"
"Of course, we will," Oliver replied quickly, without a moment's hesitation. "Honey, don't you trust me? I will definitely take responsibility for you. Once I reach the legal age for marriage, we will get married. I'm a normal man, and I can't control myself when I look at you."
Dulce almost got lost in his sweet words; Oliver was both cute and good at acting spoiled, making it hard for her to resist.
Dulce quickly changed the subject. "Aren't we going surfing at the beach today? You go outside and wait. I'll change my clothes."
Seeing that Dulce still wouldn't relent, Oliver had no choice but to go out first. "Honey, I'll wait for you at the beach."
Oliver smiled, closed the door, and left.
After leaving the hotel, Oliver received a call from a friend. "I heard you went to Emberwood with that rich woman. Have you made it?"
Oliver's demeanor changed instantly, and he sneered. "No, she's still pretending to be pure. Don't worry, I'll get it done tonight. Do you have any goods? Give me some, and I'll add a little something to her drink. She'll definitely fall for it."
"Of course. I'll have someone bring it to you. That chick looks pretty good. I estimated last time that she had a very sexy figure. You're lucky."
Oliver scoffed, "Women with big chests are brainless. If she weren't so easy to deceive, I wouldn't be interested in playing with her. She even wants to marry me. If she weren't so generous, I would have moved on long ago."
If he hadn't been unable to have sex with her for so long, Oliver wouldn't have continued playing with Dulce.
Men always coveted what they couldn't have.
"Oliver, you better hurry up. I have another lead, a newly divorced rich woman worth tens of billions of dollars. I found out she likes your type. If you don't act fast, there will be plenty of others vying for such a good catch."
Oliver eagerly said, "Alright, send me her details so I can study them. Once I get back from Emberwood, I'll find an excuse to break up with Dulce."
Oliver, relying on his good looks, had been mingling among the wealthy women. His targets were older, wealthy, divorced, or single women.
These women were the most in need of love. As long as he acted a little gentle, sweet-talked them, they gave him whatever he wanted.
Oliver had been in this line of work for over a year and had successfully hooked up with many rich women. Dulce was one of them.
Moreover, he had several women on the hook simultaneously. This trip to Emberwood wasn't just to accompany Dulce.
Otherwise, it would be too lonely for him to sleep alone at night.
In Cyberland.
Maggie was still worried about Dulce. She had met Dulce's boyfriend a few times and felt he was unreliable, slick-tongued, and without a proper job.
But Dulce liked him, even giving him money several times to start a business, all of which failed.
After finishing her call with Dulce, Maggie went to the cafeteria for dinner and then continued working.
Today was Isabella's birthday. She had ordered a cake and bought a bouquet. Just as she finished work, Isabella called.
Isabella was already downstairs at the company to pick her up.
Maggie tidied up, holding the flowers in one hand and the cake in the other, and went downstairs.
"Isabella, happy birthday."
"Thank you," Isabella said with a smile, taking the flowers. "Get in the car; let's go eat."
Maggie asked, "It's your birthday today. Aren't you inviting your mom and the others?"
"Well, I made a mistake. Today isn't my birthday. I misread the calendar," Isabella said naturally, "But it doesn't matter. We can still go eat. I've always wanted to treat you to a meal. Let's go."
